To me this is great stuff. I don't use it by itself, but added to other soups (even cup-a-soup), stews, etc. (from scratch or from the store). Even added over salads.

This is a hearty, satisfying hot broth to drink in the afternoon and evenings. I’ve been drinking this for decades and it never gets boring. It’s not too salty either. Love this.

I LOVE this powdered vegetable broth! (And my daughter has also become a fan!). I use it in almost all my soup recipes that call for liquids. Using one teaspoon of powder for each cup of water makes a healthy vegan broth that adds richness, depth, and color to any soup. I’m putting a packet in the Christmas stockings of all the cooks (both male and female) in my family this year.

I use this broth as a seasoning, sprinkling it on vegetables or casseroles for yummy flavor. Of course, it's also great as a hot broth to sip in place of tea for a change, or I love it as a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. I really enjoy it and am greatful Swanson carries Gayelord Hauser's Vegetable Broth!

I started buying Modern Products for nostalgia reasons-- my mother would watch Gaylord Hauser on T.V. in the early '60s when I was a child. I needed vegetable broth and decided to try this brand. It is delicious! I use it in cooking and it enhances the flavor of the vegetables in stews and soups. The salt is quite low for a bouillon, which can be a plus (although sea salt is essential for good health). The product comes in a paper box, I transferred it to an empty glass bouillon jar. I think you will be very pleased with the flavor and wholesomeness of this product. I found that it has some laxative qualities when taken as a hot beverage on its own.

I truly appreciate this broth. I use it in soups and stews and find it superior to other products I have tried. It is low sodium also.
