A: You could but they are not airtight so it could Make the food go stale or allow bugs.

I love the bins! I have a lot of cube shelves & open shelves in my toy room-this size bin fits perfectly on the shelves/cubes plus the stack! I just purchased more for their craft room. The pics don’t do them justice! They are bigger and “chunkier” in person. Perfect for little kid hands. Lids snap on easily & they wash easily by hand I will be repurchasing. A few lids cracked during delivery, they had them replaced within a few days. I was amazed & grateful! Over all experience was a 10+!!

Where the white or the opaque gray? Pink, fluorescent green, and neon orange? I think most of us buy these for our home not a kindergarten classroom. I’m not opposed to new colorways but don’t discontinue the everyday colors that we’ve all grown to like. I just replaced a lot of storage containers with these new ones to then come back months later and thus are no longer for sale. This is the 2nd time target has done this with their items. Release a new item just to discontinue it in the same year or so. Very frustrating. I bought 2 in pink because I was desperate but I’m returning them this weekend bc it’s an eyesore.
