A: You can. You would want to get a close to size as you rug is. It is easily to trim down.

A: This pad is not machine washable but is hand washable and easy to pick up.

Q: can this pad be used on kitchen ceramic tile?
A: We have tested this rug pad on all Mohawk flooring types and have not had any adverse reactions to date. If your flooring is from another manufacturer, we recommend checking with them if there are any specific things they advise against. This item is made of cellulose coated polyester with an acrylic coating.

Q: How do you attach pad to rugs? Or do you?

Q: Can this be used for a rug on carpet? The rug bunches up a bit.

A: The Comfort Grip Rug Pad Ivory - Mohawk Home is made to be used on flooring. We do not recommend using rug pad for other than it's intended use.

Q: Is this rug pad safe for Luxury Plank Vinyl flooring? Will it have a chemical reaction and discolor the floor? (I had a polypropylene rug that caused a problem before.)
A: Hi Andrea - Great question! The Comfort Grip Rug Pad contains Cellulose Coated Polyester with Acrylic Coating. The safest thing for the guest to do would be to contact their flooring manufacturer to make sure that this product is approved for use, as we cannot say with 100% certainty that it is safe for all types of floors since we can’t possibly test all manufacturers flooring.
