Q: If the glycerin is derived from soy, why does it say free from top 9 allergens? Ive been giving this to my baby for a month and just realized it has soy. It has caused eczema and tummy issues too
A: Hello Ebby, We apologize for any confusion regarding the glycerin source. To clarify, the organic glycerin used in our formula is derived from rapeseed oil, not soy. However, some products labeled as “soy-free” may contain soy-derived glycerin. This is because the soy allergen—the protein responsible for allergic reactions—is removed during the high refining process. The FDA exempts highly refined soy oils from allergen labeling for this reason, as they are generally considered safe for individuals with soy allergies.

Q: Previous answers say the glycerin is derived from highly refined soy. Then, the answer for my question said rapeseed. Which is it? I am only using this forum because no one responds to the customer service email.
A: Hello Ebby, We’re so sorry if you didn’t receive the three emails we sent from our Customer Service account—please check your Spam or Junk folder, as they may have ended up there by mistake. We want to reassure you that Mommy’s Bliss® Organic Little Gums Soothing Massage Gel is thoughtfully formulated without the top nine allergens, including soy. The product does not contain soy. It appears that the Q&A response you saw was answered incorrectly, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused. To clarify, the organic glycerin used in our formula is derived from rapeseed oil, not soy. While some products labeled “soy-free” may use soy-derived glycerin, the soy protein (the allergenic component) is removed during the refining process. As a result, the FDA does not require allergen labeling for highly refined soy oils, as they are generally considered safe for individuals with soy allergies. Our ingredient label remains accurate, and all components are clearly listed in the ingredient statement. We’re currently working to update the information in the Q&A section to prevent further confusion. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at customerservice@mommysbliss.com. We’re here to help!

Q: Are the tubes supposed to be sealed in any way?
A: Hello, The tubes do not have a snap off tip or seal. We have a tamper-evident clear adhesive sticker placed on the outside of the box opening. As long as that is intact and shows no signs of tampering, you are safe to use.

Q: I have a question about the seal on box. I know there is a little clear tamper sticker but when you take the tubes out of the box and twist the cap off is it already have a hole to squeeze the gel out of?
A: Hello, The tubes do not have a snap off tip or seal covering the hole. As long as the tamper evident clear adhesive sticker is on the outside of the box and not tampered with, you are fine to use.
