Each piece of our aluminum box truss weighs less than 20 lbs., making it ideal for DJs, trade shows, and mobile shows. Spans up to 2 meters across will support up to 500 lbs. center loaded and even more when evenly loaded. The 8in x 8in frames are easy to transport and dolly load for truck packs. The 1.5in outer tubes are convenient for mounting lights, TV monitors, and signage. It is not recommended for speakers or human harnesses. Losing a bag of truss spigots can mean the death of a show. Do not worry about losing or damaging connecting hardware, since our bolt truss uses standard over-the-counter M10 hex bolts available at any hardware store. This Stage Right 8in x 8in Aluminum Bolt Truss system is available in several sizes. Simply plan your floor space and take advantage of the versatility of the universal 6-way corner to build arcs, projector screen frames, or complete multilayer booths complete with warmers and signage.

I was skeptical about buying it at that price, but it said it was rated at 500 lbs and that was more than enough to support my light rig. After putting it together, me and all 4 of my band mates hung from it to see if it would flex or crack. It held all of us with minimal flex and no cracks in any of the welds. Combined we all weigh around 900 lbs. I wouldn't recommend hanging any more than what it's rated for, but just testing it, it's as good as any other truss out there and much less expensive. I plan on buying more in the future.

Wow. This truss looks beautiful and is well built. The price is amazing compared to the competition too! I highly recommend this and will likely buy more as my needs grow. Going to be using this for hanging some lighting and a camera system.
