This Monoprice Cat 5e patch cable works as it should to deliver 1 to 10 Gb Ethernet connectivity. Quality is excellent and the price is unbeatable. Would highly recommend if you are looking for patch cables.

It's 10ft of Ethernet cable and it works. Jacketing is nice and has a short stickout if you are working in tighter spaces.

Ran this cable from our cable modem router upstairs, along the ceiling, through a couple of walls (using Monoprice wall plate thingies to make it look nice), and down to my desk in my study. Being able to plug my laptop directly into the router, 3 doors away, makes all the difference. So much faster and more stable than WiFi, and it frees up WiFi bandwidth for other things in the house. I have never had a problem live-streaming since getting a direct cable connection. It?s a good cable! ?so I bought two more, in different colors, to connect the mesh routers downstairs to the mesh base upstairs! No confusion about which is which, no labels needed. And the mesh WiFi is even better with Ethernet connections between the routers.

Product was manufactured OK. Zip ties were used in the shipping process lot of kinks in the cable. Price was reasonable, shipping was as promised.

It's 100% a network cable. If it passes the tester and can successfully passes bits at the physical layer, it's a good network cable. At this point it's still in the wrapper, so it's just a network cable.

The patch cables work great and are just the right variety of lengths that I needed. They all have boots on both ends to avoid snags. The only problem was with the shipping. These cable took 2 weeks to go 1100 miles from Ohio to Texas. This is not Monoprice's fault. They now are using different shipping companies. Customer support was very helpful and was actually going to replace my order when it finally arrived.
