haven't run ethernet line in 10 years. Cat6 is super nice with the separator inside. As always monoprice carries good stuff. If your coming from Cat5E like i am just be careful when you cut the jacket off of going too deep, i used the same tool i had and it nicked the lines and had lots of failures on my first attempts. once i scored the jacket less it worked perfectly.

This is a substantial cable that is well made with top quality materials. As such, it is a bit stiff, which is what I expected for a good Cat 6 Cable. The cable is well marked stating the full construction standards it is built to even stating that it has Benn tested and certified to 550MHz. I have not done any specific testing of the cable but from what I have seen 10 Gbs will not be an issue.

The cable came quickly and in good shape. just looking at the cable, it seems to be high quality ( from what I know) and the price was phenomenal. This weekend I am running the cable and look forward to having hardwired ethernet cable. Side note... this cable is 23awg so plan accordingly for the terminations and tools

I ordered this cable to wire our whole house with Ethernet connections. Although our home is small, I used the whole box with multiple drops in several rooms. Everything terminates in our front closet where I installed a small network rack to hold the switch, modem, a router, and patch panel. The cable is very nice quality for the price point and functions as it should. I would not hesitate to purchase again if I needed more. Excellent cable at an excellent price..

I am very pleased with the Cat6 cable I received. The price and delivery time was excellent and I highly recommend it. I've installed the new security cameras and all the TV's and accessories are hard wired instead of using WiFi. I weould certainly buy this again if the need arises.

This stuff is great for running cable throughout your building or house. The core makes it extra durable when pulling or pushing the cable. It can still get kinked though so have to watch out for that. The core also sometimes makes it a bit more difficult for terminating but over all it's a good cable for the price.

I ordered 7 different color of these cables for running cable throughout our shop anywhere from 110 to 220 Lanier feet. Most of the cables were fine, in nice looking boxes and shipped neatly in an additional shipping box which was great. But the yellow one which jacket was so thin and it kept tangling and kinking easily and badly. It makes it even harder when you do cabling in 25 feet above the floor on a man-lift. when I checked the boxes, I notices the box of yellow cable was different and was matt and not glossy like all other ones so I believe this one been from an older or different line of production. I hope Monoprice discontinue that line of product and sends customers same high quality product across their orders.

Cable has been great to work with. The brown and orange strands seem to be slightly less twisted than the blue and green, but perhaps that is how it is supposed to be. Regardless, the cable feels study and flexible enough, though it is certainly less flexible than some of the older cat 5 pat cables I was replacing. I could get the twist out of the individual stands and had no problems adding Klein cat6 rj45 pass through connectors. This worked great for making custom sized patch cables for hardwiring a small set of computer terminals to an ethernet switch in our office. Would recommend and would purchase again.

Cable seems to communicate fine. Very tough cable to work with though. Also, the cable I received was blue, not even close to purple.

Great cable. It can be a bit stiff to work with as it is cat 6 but being a newbe at making cables, I had zero issues making and testing my work. If you need cat 6 this is a sure choice.
Works great!

After buying this and sitting on it for a couple of years, I finally got around to running it under the house. I probably shout have waited to buy as it's like $40 less than when I bought, but it was still well worth the purchase price. With the exception of a minor tangle at the beginning of my runs, I had no issues pulling the wire from the box. The wire was easy to strip and punch down into my outlets and the patch panel. I didn't really expect much of a difference in my overall speeds but a quick speedtest while I type this shows I gained about 50 Mbps over my old run.
