I bought 2 DP cables to use with the Thunderbolt hub I bought at Monoprice. So far all work well. Cables are good quality and flexible to allow for bending while routing

It works. Picked this one cause it was on sale. Never had a nylon braided cable before, it's pretty stiff. Make sure it's plugged properly in the monitor, I thought the cable didn't work at first.
Not VESA Compliant not stable at DisplayPort version 1.4

This cable is not VESA compliant, it does not have locking clicks to keep it in place. I should be able to get 144Hz on my widescreen monitor in display port 1.4 mode but it is not stable with this cable. Had to downgrade to 1.3 mode and 120hz. Bought a different brand that is VESA Compliant and could then enable 1.4 mode and overclock monitor to 160hz and it is completely stable. This is the 2nd time I've been bitten by Monoprice and their supposed "compliant" cables. Won't be buying again.

This cable (I bought four) is very stiff--as a result, it disconnects too easily from the DisplayPort connections in both a video card and a monitor because of the tension the stiffness creates.
