Good for the price

I wasn't prepared for quite how flimsy these feel. The vertical portion is a super thin extruded piece that is shored up by a long, thin (1/4"?) rod that you tighten in the base. That said, I appreciate the nice looking glass base, and the spikes are long enough to make it fairly stable with a heavy speaker, even on my thick carpet. I think in the future, I'd probably go for the Monolith ones.
Really Wobbly

Light weight and flimsy. Not at all impressed. If your speakers are anything other than cheap powered speakers I would not recommend this.

Overall good value; Pros: Sleek, more stable than it looks, conceals wire Cons. Pointed feet good for carpet but bad for ceramic or hard floor; plastic feet protect floor but don't hold/attach to base. alternate plastic foot that replace pointed foot better would be better option.

These stands are perfect in all aspects because of the height it brings the bookshelf speakers to ear level, they look fantastic, and are very solid. The price is extremely affordable for a pair and it even includes cable management.
Not well designed

These are attractive stands but not well designed. There are two plastic parts that go on the top and the bottom of the upright post. It is very difficult to get these to fit properly as you assemble the stands. The result is the stands lean in one direction or another. When I was finally able to get them properly fitted, tightening the nut at the bottom deformed one of the plastic pieces causing the post to lean again. I had to return them.
Good For What I Use Them For

Would I use these for a prize pair of front L/R KEF or B&W bookshelf speakers? No way. Would I use these for my nearly 20-year-old Klipsch Synergy SB-2 speakers I still use for my L/R surrounds? Absolutely. That's exactly what I bought them for. At the $60 price tag, yes, they are a bit cheap (posts are pretty thin walled) and a little wobbly if not set up right. But, once fitted together properly and tightened down they really don't look or function badly at all. They work perfectly for the application I intended for them. Thanks again Monoprice!
Flimsy and cheap.

Extremely cheap and unstable. I would not recommend these to anyone unless you were putting tiny bookshelf speakers on them that were super light.

This items works well but was very poorly constructed. Rubber inserts that should have been glued the stand were floating free. Spacers on one end had to be removed in order for the stands to be straight.

Good news: The stands look good. Bad news: They stand crooked and lean too much to be stable. Good news: Using 2 of the 4 plastic feet to prop up the low side of each stand straightens them. Lesson: You get what you pay for. I recommend paying more to get more.
I was shocked at the limited options for bookshelf speaker stands. Ultimately, I am happy with these, and they do what I expected sound and looks wise.

Monoprice I'll review these because you asked... If you can get the little screws to screw in all the way (had to use pliers for those) it still isn't balanced. If you're looking for good speaker stands these aren't it. Sorry. Cheap chinese made with cheap flimsy plastic they will not last. Take my advise or don't it's up to you.
Bad, just really bad

Do not waste your money on these. There are better options out there for the same price. Build quality is very cheap - very flimsy. One of my stands isn’t even close to being level. The rubber covers for the spiked carpet feet are a terrible design. Very inconvenient to use on hard flooring.

What is there to say? They feel cheap, lightweight, and like they can't even support my desktop speakers. Plus, after putting them together, they can't even stand up straight. The metal pieces all came warped and my entire experience has just been bad.

After comparing different bookshelf speaker stand options online, these were a very competitive price. The glass and metal components give them a quality look, but there are a few plastic pieces that will bend if the base of the stand is overtightened during assembly. All in all a great deal.
