Monoprice Replacement Flexible Build Plate - Black For Use With All Models of The MP Voxel 3D Printer

So I thought that this was the whole slide on and off tray... I was very wrong and did not realize it's just the sticker to sit on top of the plate that slides on and off. Also there are no instructions on how to install and remove the old sheets.. oh well, live and learn

I was so afraid to change it...thought I would mess it up...but, nope, it was simple . The used surface was a little hard to remove, but - it made sense...

The replacement bed sheet arrived quickly and as described at Monoprice's great low price.

I bought this as a replacement for the FlashForge Adventurer Lite 3 build sheet. This is the same sheet as stock but cheaper. Amazing quality. Highly recommended!!

The sticker on my build plate that came with the printer originally chipped, and this was a great deal for a replacement. HAas worked well for me. Yes there are no instructions included. You just peel the original sticker off and press this one on. It's pretty easy to apply.

The new sheet is fine BUT getting the old one and glue off is hard. Would be nice if came with instructions.

In an awkward turn of events, Monoprice's Voxel parts vary widely in pricing. While it is identical to the Flashforge Adventurer 3, and the parts are swappable, this build surface sticker (this is just the upper textured part, not the build plate) is 1/3 of the price it is from Flashforge (when I ordered), but the full plate with sticker is 2x as much from Monoprice than it is from Flashforge (bought 3 spares). These are REALLY hard to remove, but it needs to be that way. To remove, get under one corner with a plastic scraper or something thin, and then pull back at a 180 degree angle. Be careful, and go all the way around to make it easier when it gets wider. It is hard to get off. To get rid of the adhesive once you've pulled the old one off, spray with Goo Gone and let it sit for awhile. You may need to massage the Goo Gone into the thick adhesive left over, but after doing so and letting it sit for a few minutes the adhesive will roll right off. Wash with hot soap and water and dry before replacing the surface sticker. I'm going to be using blue painters tape if I get over sticking problems again, but since I moved to the Adventurer 3's firmware and calibrated the head properly, I'm not getting the problem I had anymore (inability to remove prints from the bed).

Build sheet is identical to the original so big thumbs up there. It should come with instructions for how to remove the existing sheet without leaving me with a mess of adhesive residue that took hours to remove. There are videos on-line for that but I wasn’t directed to them either.

Good product, reasonable price. Only comment is that some instruction on best way to remove old cracked one from the plate would have been useful. In the end I used a razor blade scraper to gently pull the old one off and then cleaned the plate with nail polish remover and about an hour worth of scrubbing with nail polish remover and paper towel. once cleaned the new one went on perfectly. If there is a better way to remove and clean I would appreciate the instructions... If it had come with that I would have rated at 4 or 5 stars depending on effort required to remove and clean...

I’d never purchase this item because as far as I can tell replacing the build surface voids the warranty for the build surface and maybe the whole printer. Also, hey spelled “build” wrong in the title
