Despite the introduction of DVI and HDMI, the common VGA connection is still the primary connection for most computer monitors.
This triple-shielded cable is designed to handle analog VGA and extended VGA resolutions. It features gold-plated male DE-15 (aka HD-15 or DB-15) connectors on each end for smooth, corrosion-free connections. Additionally, it has a stereo audio line with 3.5mm (1/8") connectors at each end. Each 3.5mm lead has an additional 22 inches of length beyond the DE-15 connector, so you can connect it to your sound card and to the audio input of your TV or monitor.

It's ok, It was cheaper than separate cables though I have a lot at each end requiring extra cable management. It is also very stiff. I already had an audio cable but because it was so inexpensive I figured it would be better. Given how stiff it is and the extra amount at each end it would have been easier to manage 2 cables rather than the one stiff one with the extra at each end. Still, it works and it was inexpensive.

Dependable, affordable cables useful for a variety of situations. The audio plugs have decent shielding. I've encountered some hum with them but 99% of the time it's due to a laptop being plugged in while using the cable. The end connectors are thick, which make them easy to grasp. However, they may be a little big for uses where space is a concern. I've also found it difficult to loosen the audio lugs since they sometimes brush up against the video connector housing. The cabling is thick and sturdy, making it an ideal connector for everyday use. Small concerns overall for the quality and price.

The 10 foot cord works great for us regarding connecting a laptop to our conference room AV system.
