This adapter supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz using a USB 3.0 connection or up to 800 x 600 using USB 2.0. It is fully compatible with Windows Aero Effects and can be configured as a mirrored, extended, or primary display. When extended, the display can be positioned above, below, or to either side of the primary display.

It works, but took some finessing to get it to work properly. An improvement would be for the adaptor to be able to attach (use screws from vga cable) to the cable. The adaptor need to sit on desk or the weight from the cable pulls it out.

Sadly didn't pay attention to the fact it is only compatible with Windows and not with Apple OS.
