Q: There are two small bottons on the remote - are they for any particular function? We can't figure out their purpose?

A: Hi there, thank you for your question! The two small buttons are used to fix vehicle drifting (veering left or Right). If your Megalodon Storm is veering to the right, press the button on the left. If your truck veers to the left, press the button on the right. Adjust until the alignment is correct. Hope this helps!

Q: Cat doesn’t seem to hold a charge. Will run for 2 seconds then stop. We have charged it. The remote batteries have been changed as well. When the truck stops the remote beeps. Any advice? Bought this not even a month ago.

Q: How do you open the controller to put then batteries in?

A: Hello Mel, Thank you for reaching out! To remove the cover on your controller and add batteries, you will need a small screwdriver. Use the small screwdriver to remove the battery door on the back of your controller. Place 2 AAA batteries inside. Was ok if you like charging things longer then actually using it, wheel has now snapped off from the smallest of bumps and seeing some reviews I take it there is no way of replacement parts.

Daughter wanted to get this for my son for her birthday. Online price was better, but Target price matched it when I bought it in the store so that was great. We got to use it in action this last weekend when we got hit with about 7 inches of snow and this little thing is mighty. Don’t let its size fool you, it did so well in the snow and my kids played with it all day. The only downside is the battery is not great and we had to charge it multiple times throughout the day.

The Megalodon All-Terrain Remote Monster Truck is an absolute *beast*! It tears through dirt, gravel, grass, and even puddles like it owns the place. The shark-inspired design is ridiculously cool—seriously, who doesn’t want a monster truck that looks like a sea predator? The controls are responsive, making it easy to pull off spins and jumps that’ll leave you feeling like a stunt driver. The only downside? The battery life could be a bit longer, and it takes some time to recharge. Also, it’s a little noisy, but honestly, that just adds to the “monster” vibe. If you’re looking for an RC truck that can handle whatever terrain you throw at it (and look awesome doing it), the Megalodon is a total catch. Just keep it fed with plenty of charge, and you’re good to go!

I bought two of them, One for each my boys. One of the trucks works perfectly runs a good amount of time. The other one is defective, Won’t even run for even 5min until it says the battery is low. I will try to contact the customer service because one of my sons always gets upset that it dies so quickly versed his brothers. Hopefully they can send me a new one!

The toy is quite big, fun, and great for monster truck lovers. The biggest issue and disappointment is its’ battery life; we charged it all night and only lasted for about 3 minutes. The charge cable is tiny, and due to the toy’s size it’s a bit difficult to charge. If these 2 things (specially the battery life) were to be fixed, this would make a hell of a toy. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this product.

My 4 year old loves it! It's super fast and can take a beating for those that can't steer good yet. What we dislike about this toy is the battery life, it doesn't hold a long battery life, it'll last about a good 25-30 min and it's real loud.

SO MUCH FUN! it goes in the grass, on the road, and also on sand! Supposedly it goes on waterr also, but we haven't had a chance to try it out yet! I will be purchasing another one to take to the beach with us! If it ever gets warm again! lol
