Q: I see the chaise cushion is 72" long but can you tell me how long each section is. How long is the "back" cushion and how long is the "seat" cushion?

Q: How fade resistant is the fabric? I thought I heard the video say 600 hours, that is not very long. How does your fabric compare to Sunbrella?

Q: will this work on a standard ols school PVC piping lounge chaise? i need a replacement it may not tie in proper placecsince no wooden slates but? i am sure it could work? i have to measure lengths

A: Thank you for your question. The cushion should still work with the PVC piping chaise lounge, the tie should still be able to go in between the slates of the PVC.

A: Hello Mary, Thanks for your question. The fabric of the Montlake Chaise Lounge Cushion is designed with a water resistant coating and backing that resists stains and helps keep your cushion protected. The water resistant fabric is not waterproof. This type of material does soak through in heavy rain and prolonged exposure to water. To avoid possible moisture and or mildew of the cushions do not store the cushions outside if you are expecting moderate to heavy rainfall.

A: Hello Debra, The Montlake Patio Chaise Lounge Cushion has two separate cushions, a long one and a short one, inside the slipcovers. The two sections are joined by a small strip of fabric that is attached to the backside of the slipcover, so that the cushions are essentially one piece when placed on your lounge chair. An important distinction, when living in the hot, humid, rainy south - this is not waterproof....it is water resistant. So a quick spill or splash by the pool isn't problematic. But rain can cause problems. Just purchased, but so far fabric quality is good. Can't tell how long the foam will keep it's shape. Sizing and information from company was clear and helpful.

These are very nice cushions, quality made! The covers come separate but are pretty easy to get on. If you watch the video ahead of times it’s helpful. The top and bottom cushion are attached and don’t come apart, which is fine. They have nice clips to attach to the chairs. The covers are very thick canvas, great for durability but they are a little stiff not as soft as I expected but still happy overall!

Great quality. Thick foam, Sturdy canvas. Almost killed myself getting the cover on. Seriously- it was so tight. I was sweating and needed a bandaid afterward. If I EVER take the cover off, I'm going to need another set of hands. Then, after washing the slipcover, I'm going to need to snip off the material encasing the foam, trim the foam down, using an electric carving knife, and hand-stitch the protective material back on. Because there is nothing easy-breezy about this slipcover situation. It is TIGHT! I don't know if the cover will ever get washed, because I will not risk injury again. The other possibility would be setting the entire thing on fire if the cover gets soiled, and chucking it over the fence into the street. We'll see how it goes. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO A FRIEND UNLESS I DID NOT LIKE THAT FRIEND

Hello itscocopop, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry to hear of your experience, that must have been quite a set back. With each cushion we have included a set of installation instructions that provide tips for ease of installation. Having a friend handy is beneficial, and one of the tips that proves to be the most helpful is to fold the foam in half and hold between your knees, then insert the slip cover over the foam and release when the foam is set into the slipcover. The good news is that the fabric has a water resistant backing and coating that resists stains, so cleaning may be as easy as an occasional spot cleaning. We do not recommend washing in a washing machine. We recommend hand washing with lukewarm water. Do not use soap, bleach, or detergent as these may remove the protective coatings added by the factory. Air dry well. I hope the quality of this cushion provides many hours of relaxation on the patio this season. Thanks again for sharing your experience.

These are really high quality. The fabric feels very sturdy and they fit our lounge perfectly. It was a little difficult to get them into the cover but once in they felt really sturdy.

Great quality and a good price. Firm foam. Easy to place foam into the cover. Wish there were more color options. I picked the charcoal grey and it is really dark. But I like it anyway. Will select the light grey next time.

I normally don’t write tee but these outdoor cushions wow Really nice, love the quality I bought bunch and return them including sunbrailla brand really bad foam inside this one was my last try to buy online and had intentions of returning it in mine but after opening the boxes this these are the best one very firm foam fabric quality is so good ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a great "blind buy" online. Without being able to check it out in store I was uncertain. However, this cusion is great. It's well made and durable. I liked that the cover is removeable and can be swapped or washed separately.

Once I finally got it all the way it needs to be, it's very comfortable to sit on. The beige color blends in nicely with my patio deck. Material seems quite durable. I love that I can relax now on my deck while being comfortable on this cushion. I can recommend it but just keep in mind, the cushion comes vacuum sealed and will need to expand before use.

It was a bit of a challenge to get the cushions into their zippered casings, but well worth the effort, and I'm sure it would be much easier with two people (I didn't have that option at the time). It's everything I could ask for in a lounge cushion: solid, sturdy, comfortable, zipper enclosed casing, washable cover, waterproof & fade-proof cover, and secure snap-on straps that hold it firmly in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start, it comes in stuffed. Its a flattened & rolled up in sealed plastic. You open the plastic & the foam pad expands. The instructions say put in the slip cover right away after opening & the pad will expand over time. I opened mine & it pretty much expanded right away. I was able to get the cover on the seat part with some extra effort, the back/head part was easier. But in al l not a big deal. You can feel the quality of the cushion as you insert the padding. The material is nice, stitching is strong, I like that it is fade resistant. The is a strap on each side to attach to your lounge, its adjustable & slides between each side to make it a perfect fit. Once I put it onto my lounge chair I knew I found my summer happy place! The Montlake FadeSafe Patio Chaise Lounge Cushion is a perfect addition to my lounge chair

I can see this chaise cushion lasting for years! I highly recommend reading the directions to assemble this product. I missed the sheet and just started opening things and ended up with a small battle of cushion versus cover. However, if I had read the instructions first, I would have had a much easier time assembling. I'm extremely impressed with the heavy duty nature of this cushion and the ability it will have to withstand wind and sun.
