I was eyeing this shampoo (and the paired conditioner) for awhile. Finally gave it a try when I ran out of my usual shampoo. The smell is very nice, and the shampoo didn't feel drying or as if it left residue. The issue is, my skin broke out in bad acne. I'm an adult, haven't dealt with acne like this in YEARS. It's all over my neck, head/scalp, shoulders, and upper back. Initially I thought it was a coincidence, but when I stopped using it the issue resolved. I used it again one time, just to be sure it was the issue, and my skin broke out AGAIN. I don't have any allergies. I'm not sure what it is about this product, but I personally wouldn't buy it again.

I have not used this shampoo yet, but I'm not going to because it doesn't smell good- same for the conditioner. I recently got the lotion in the same scent and it doesn't smell good- neither in the bottle nor on my skin. I'll be returning the lotion, this shampoo, and the conditioner. I hope Target/Goodfellow & Co. makes more of these products in a different scent (because the lotion's quality was actually pretty good, so I was disappointed at the scent). I recently got the cologne sampler and all four scents smelled amazing. This Moroccan Mint & Cedar scent just does not smell good at all. I suppose I will just stick with my Creme of Nature hair products until then. Just to be clear, my rating & recommendation is solely due to the scent, not because of the quality of the product.

I've been using this for a little while now and I really love it. The smell is amazing, you don't need much, and it works well with my long hair. This product scores a 3/10 on the EWG healthier choices rating scale, which is pretty good since the lower the number the less toxins and harmful ingredients. Very glad I decided to thy this!

I’ve actually been using a lot of Goodfellow products for some time now. I was GENUINELY SURPRISED how GOOD they are. Overall, I’d say they’re high quality with good ingredients and not a bad price either. The shampoo is amazing. I used to be hesitant to wash my hair everyday and I’ve tried lots of shampoos out there. But I really have grown attached to this one. Now, I do wash my hair everyday using this. It’ll really clean my hair but won’t dry it out. A pleasant, clean scent too

It has a very good smell. But sadly, like others have posted- there is very little to no lather. It just doesn't seem like it coats all of my hair, seemed very watery. The best explination is very hard to lather hair, I needed about 8 pumps. I have average length hair, might even be less hair then average male.

This shampoo and the conditioner you can buy separately are pretty good. I would say one thing I liked about it was better and more natural path it took as far as the ingredients they had. I have fine hair but a lot of it and I would say a normal to oily scalp so this was good in that it made me feel clean in that regard. However, the lather is not as great as a lot of the other lesser natural brands and I think that has to be due to the ingredients in general which is not a terrible thing. It just takes a lot to give me the desired lather I want in a shampoo product. Other than that, my hair felt clean and looked nicely conditioned with volume. Try it for yourself!
