Q: What size should I invest in if I was originally a size 10-12 in average clothing before getting pregnant. I only gained 15-19 lbs during my pregnancy and a majority of it is purely belly and baby.

I purchased this due to the good reviews but boy was I in for a disappointment. i am 1 month post partum and had a baby c section. i was looking for something to snatch me back up yet also be comfortable enough to wear for hours of the day since I am still recovering from major surgery. I've waist trained for years and have always used extreme sculpting ones but opted for something with more comfortability this time. jokes on me because this is EXTREMELY uncomfortable - actually painful, and gives little to no support. usually with waist trainers they give you that hour glass look. this one does nothing of the sort and gives you no shape to your waist at all. i still looked square while wearing this. only pro is that it did hold in my tummy at least. i wore this for 2 days straight for a few hours (second day had to take it off earlier because the pain became unbearable) by the third day could not wear it at all because i now have a pain underneath my chest where the waist trainer starts. the raised back is a good concept but then the front underneath your boobs is lower which digs into the front when your sitting. it also digs into your sides when your sitting down and now i also have a minor aching pain in which I'm assuming is from this waist trainer. you can get a better waist trainer off Amazon for $30-50 compared to this $90 overpriced junk. sometimes the more you spend does not nesscarialy mean it's going to work better. returning this asap

Sizing chart was off like another reviewer said, especially since this band doesn’t stretch much. I would have to go up at least 1-2 sizes to be able to wear it right after birth (or potentially a week after). I was a xs-s pre-pregnancy (100 lbs), and now I have a 42” belly (39.5 weeks pregnant). The sizing chart on the box is way smaller than the chart on target. Going to have to return and order in a bigger size. Definitely a pricey item to have.

My waist is currently 36 inches and my original size pre-pregnancy was 27 inches. So I got the small since it says the size range is 33 - 37 inches thinking this would be a good starting point. However, I can’t even latch it. So definitely size up since the sizing chart seems to be off.

I have diastasis recti so instead of surgery and not having the time to exercise because I am a stay at home mom to 3 boys between the ages of 3-5... I wear this but only when I leave the house. It’s comfy and very well made. This is actually a replacement. I started washing my other one without placing it in a laundry bag and washing on delicate so I lost a few of the hooks so please wash properly!
