Q: are both the cameras and the monitor able to run on batteries and electric or just the monitor? Also, how long does the monitor last on battery?

submitted by Moe - 3 years ago
  • A: Thank you for your inquiry. Only the monitor is able to run with battery and the camera is not. For typical use with middle level screen brightness and speaker volume, the monitor can last for around 6 hours on battery after the the battery is fully charged. Best Regards. Q: when in split screen, how does the sound work? does it cycle between the cameras? or will it only stay on one camera?

submitted by Dayray22 - 2 years ago
  • A: Thank you for your inquiry. When in split screen mode, the sound does not automatically cycle between the cameras but you can select the camera to be heard by pressing the navigation key on the parent unit. The sound can only automatically cycle between cameras when in cycling camera mode. Best Regards. The Motorola Nursery Product Team

Q: what's the difference in this one and the one that says 5.0 that's 269 they look the same but price is different so what is the difference

submitted by amber - 3 years ago
  • A: Thank you for your inquiry. The difference is that the resolution of the screen on the parent unit of PIP1610 HD CONNECT is higher than that of PIP1510 CONNECT. The screen resolution of PIP1610 HD CONNECT is 1280x720 pixels while PIP1510 CONNECT is 480x272 pixels. I hope my reply is helpful for you.
