Exactly as described. Works well. Decent price for motorized remote controlled mount. Pay attention to details in installation manual and installation will be a snap. One downside is the recommended height above mantle in the manual is not accurate. I could have mounted it 4 inches lower without a problem. Additional spacers and/or additional bolt lengths for VESA would be a plus.

Mount is great. Remote control of a motorized mount is so convenient.

The installed took more time that expected , this installed needs two adults and a 6 foot ladder to help with the install of the TV and Steady it. Also measure twice once you start drilling your holes. Also the main bracket that mounts the TV could us a heavier gauge steel, but that depends on the the size of the TV and year made. My size TV was 65 LG, I would recommend go up one mount for 70-75 if the gauged is stronger. lifting the TV back up does not look as easy as the online info. Bringing the TV down is much easier.

The product is great, instructions are well outlined. But the anchors that are provided are junk and I would recommend getting your own heavy duty anchors.

This is a sturdy, well engineered wall mount that works great for my new 65" TV. After considering a manual lowering mount, I decided that handling the TV on a regular basis was probably not worth the risk or the added cost of the motorized version. Go ahead and spend the extra $ - if the safety and convenience aren't worth it, the coolness factor certainly is.

My son has a loft bed in his bedroom which requires a high TV mount but also plays video games while sitting on his futon which requires a lower or typical height TV mount. The Height Adjustable Pull-Down Fireplace TV Mount was the perfect solution for this problem!

This product works exactly as advertised. My friends and family were really impressed with the professional look to my new setup as well. I knew mounting above my fireplace was not ideal, but in my house, it really was imperative! This is a great solution for reducing neck strain looking up, and even my wife loves it!!! I did have some difficulties in trying to figure out EXACTLY where to mount it as the directions were not the easiest to decipher for fitting my mount/tv into a tight cavity I built into above my mantle. I’m sure with a little practice, I would nail it in the future, but how many am I gonna do? Lol! The construction and quality of the product is obvious, and I have no doubt it will work for many years to come. Already thinking about how I can help others to do the same thing as they strain to watch their tv’s as well!

I have a standing desk that I bought from another company and needed to find a mount for my monitor, which is a TV, that I could not just stand, but also sit if I wanted while maintaining good ergonomics. This mount is perfect for that. The mount was easy to setup and holds the TV perfectly. I can now stand at my standing desk with ease and if I choose to sit down, I can pull the mount down and my TV remains at eye level.

First off it works wonderfully for my 55 inch tv looks clean. I do have four recommendations that are more design choices. 1 Elongating the vesa bars depending on config there is spacing where you see bottom of mount. 2 Adding in a wire route at top I cut one in to hide the cable better. 3 making the silicone piece designed to be removed a different colour it was a little inconspicuous and almost forgotten about. 4 This can be a manu issue, mine seemed to break after first use. It turned out that a cable was pulled just enough out it didn't want to work as if it was over stretched upon piston reposition.

Love this!! Just what we needed when we re-did the fireplace, the height of the mantle makes it to high to view the TV but with this it’s so easy to lower it. The living room has gone from always being an empty room to the new favorite room to gather. I’m a short woman but it’s a breeze for me to lower it down.

This is a very nice mount. It moves very quietly and with no drama It is heavy so install requires some patience to get it right I am very pleased

This was way too hard to put together. Multiple holes were too small for the intended bolts, and other pieces didn't line up nicely. It works ok when assembled, but it harder to move than expected.

Bought this for an addition to our den for the grandkids to watch TV. Assembly was no problem at all, but when I tried to adjust the spring action to the lowest weight possible, it took every thing I had to get it to budge. When I did get it all the way down I had to ease it back up because there was so much tension it would of sprung back way too hard. I contacted Mount-It and described my problem and the sent me a replacement part (FF) . I installed the new part, and it works like a champ. Thank You Tammy, from customer care for getting the new part to me within 4 days of the call. Skip Caster

Got this as a housewarming gift for a sibling and they love it. Was easy to install and adjust. Features are worth it. Would definitely buy again.

Sits off the wall much further then I expected when in the down position but it works as advertised

Installation and assembly was pretty easy. At he beginning, mount and handle bar located in a convenient place - we use it daily (take TV up and down) and have no issue. Recommend!

Could have a little play left to right but its really stiff. It did hold up the tv well.

This is a great bracket, Puts the TV at a lower level then up if you want a fire.
