Q: How deep does the desk top need to be in order to install the screws for mounting. My desk top is only 1l2 inch deep.

Make sure you take good measurements first. My desk had no pencil drawer and now it does! It fits and works well. The drawer slides are smooth. It feels sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this thing, the little bit of storing makes a huge difference. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the label but it can always be painted or covered with contact paper. It is so simple to assemble I didn’t even need the instructions.
