Muck Women's Chore Mid Boot,WCHM000, Black

I bought these less than a year ago, absolutely loved them! They are perfect for winter and keep your feet dry and warm. But they have cracked and my feet were getting wet and cold. They just don’t hold up. I expected more for the price and brand.

I work at a horse farm everyday and a good reliable boot is a MUST. Unfortunately, these aren’t it. I’ve had mine for about 3-4 months now and part of its already coming undone, as well as cracking. I’m honestly afraid that when the heavy snow hits (Wisconsin) I’ll be a little SOL in terms of having dry and warm feet. They’re also HEAVY boots. My biggest complaint would be how wide the opening is, hay, shavings, and stones are constantly getting into my shoe and it drives me absolutely insane. I had a pair of Mucks a few years ago that were taller and I didn’t have that issue with them so maybe it’s supposed to be wider with this model. Regardless, they’re annoying and I’m back on the hunt for a new pair of barn boots after only having them for a handful of months The good would be they do keep my feet warm and are waterproof, for now.

I’ve had Muck Chore boots in the past. They were great and lasted a long time. So I went with new ones which are heavy (like cement blocks) and nowhere as comfortable.

I bought these and have been wearing them around the farm to do chores for a week they have already developed a few leaks. My feet are wet from the mud and snow by the time I'm done with chores. I initially thought my feet were just sweating, so I decided to try wearing a lighter sock and keep wearing them, but then I saw bubbles forming where the different pieces of rubber meet on the boot, such as where the toe box is connected to the body of the boot and where the top of the boot is attached to the sole. I would not recommend these boots at this time.

I am a full time dairy farmer, on my feet in muck chore boots 8 hours a day, 365 days a year. Prior to 2022, I went through two pairs a year. Since January, a pair lasts only two MONTHS before the rubber on the foot splits open. While no other brand compares for comfort and secure footing in various conditions on various surfaces- concrete and sod- two months is not an acceptable lifespan at this price point and I am going to have to try other brands.

When choosing between a too big size 8 and a snug 7 I went with the 7 hoping taking out the insoles would allow enough space. Sadly just after just a couple weeks of wearing them around the farm the seems at the toe blew out. Aside from them not being available in half sizes they would be a great boot.

I bought these boots 3 months ago and already have several leaks. The leaks are around the band where the sole meets the boot so I’d say it’s a manufacturer problem. I’d go with another brand since the point of rubber boots is to keep dry feet. Awfully expensive pair of boots to have such a major flaw.

These are awesome. I work 40 hrs+ a week in these and have had them for about 5 months now. They are amazing. I’m SUPER surprised I haven’t had and damage to them between shoveling non stop, walking around in the muddy rocky sharp fields, and honestly everything else I do at work. I totally recommend these. Obviously wear crew or long socks so you don’t get blisters.

I bought these two years ago and have hardly wore them and the sole came off of them. The same thing happened to my husband. Save your money folks.

These boots are less than a year old, with only about 6 months of actual use. The heel is completely detached, inside the neoprene near the heels of both boots has worn down to the rubber, and there are holes in the rubber near the big toe on both boots. Muck warrantied them, and I sincerely appreciate that they stand behind their products, but these boots should be holding up better than they do. They used to be the most durable boots on the market, but they just aren't made to last anymore. Hopefully they can find a way to bring the quality back, or at least make them more eco-friendly if we are going to have to purge two pairs of boots a year. At this time, I am trying out boots made by a different company.

Great boots! Would order 1/2 bigger next time just cause feet swelling 101 weather.

Really tight to the point of needing to remove them immediately Please make something for extra wide widths

Great height, great value, the last pair lasted me four soggy farm seasons. Not too hot for the summer and allows for good movement and keeps my feet nice and warm in the winter.

Overall I was very happy with the fit. I have big calves so they were a little tight around there but I was still able to get my legs in. I was very unhappy with the appearance of the boots when they came. The right boot was fine, but the left boot had glue residue around the bottom seam from where they were either repaired or first put together. There were some places where the seam was still coming apart. I had to return them completely because they no longer had my size available on their website.

Muck Boots are the only boots I wear I work in a plant they're extremely safe as far as being a slip proof water resistant and comfortable all day long for walking on concrete I've been wearing them for a little over 3 years I highly recommend them do anyone they are a little pricey but you get what you pay for

Unfortunately the boots did not fit at the heel and so rubbed, which is fine but because they are over 2kg they could not be returned by post so it was an extremely expensive return on an already expensive pair of welly boots.

I wear them for long hours and they are still so comfortable! Is it worth it !

The inside back of these boots is so hard and unforgiving that, after wearing just once, one of the boots had rubbed my heel raw and I ended up with a very painful and large blister. Unable to wear the boots now but cannot return as have worn them the once. Expensive purchase.

super comfy and fit the shape of my foot perfectly! they fit the same as your standard running shoe or converse size. i would definitely recommend these boots, especially for my fellow farmers! i don't ever want to take them off
