Q: At what temp. does the warmer keep the mug ?
A: Not as hot as I think it should be, it keeps it warm not really hot.

A: This coffee or mug warmer needs an electrical outlet to operate. You can keep your cup and coffee warm as you savor it.

A: The diameter of the heating plate for the mug warmer is 3.3 inches. The diameter of the entire mug warmer is 5 inches. Hope this helps!

Q: Does this cup warmer make your cup hot? If it heats to 212 degrees, it seems like the bottom of the cup would get hot though to burn you, or to damage a wood table.

Q: Does it have auto shut off when you haven't moved the mug in a while?

Mr. Coffee mug warmers have an indicator light that lets the user know when the warmer is on and turns the warmer on when in place and off when removed. It also automatically shuts off after 30 minutes when the mug is in place. Hence would only hold the coffee warm for 30 minutes. The units' warming plate heats up to 212 Degrees F/100 Degrees C.
