Q: Will this work for a 2017 Nissan Versa? Also, will it work for a 2019 Mazda CX-3? Not sure if it’s compatible with magnets.

A: Good morning Maria. The BRICA Magnetic Stretch-to-Fit Sun Shade fits most cars. To test for compatibility, use a household magnet along the inside of the car door frame along the window. If the magnet sticks to the surface, the shade is compatible. Note: will not work on frameless windows on car door frames made from non-magnetic material such as fiberglass, aluminum, or titanium or those encased in plastic molding.

I really wasn’t impressed with this Munchkin magnetic sunshade. There is only one in the pack, and on my small Nissan windows the shade was too large and floppy. The magnets didn’t hold on all parts of my window frame and the fabric seemed pretty thin. It might work for some car windows, but it didn’t for mine. I returned it and got a more traditional roller shade which works better.

I got this after reading a few reviews and it is worth it! It depends on what kind of vehicle/windows you have but I was able to make mine fit pretty well ona Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has little tabs on it so you can adjust it smaller or bigger on your window. I folded in a couple of the magnets to make it a little smaller as well. You do need to have exposed metal to be able to make it stick the best and the magnets are quite strong. I never had a problem opening and closing my door with the magnets in place. We like being able to put the window down on nice days while having the shade still on. We also like being able to move it to a different window or vehicle in a pinch if needed!
Sticks amazingly and keeps the sun out.

With the door open I put the top magnets under the seal that’s around the edge of the door and it holds very securely to the metal. It stretches so well to reach the sides as well, and holds tight enough to stay on unless my son grabs and pulls it hard. Its ability to stay in place amazes me since I’ve dealt with many shades that had smaller/weaker magnets. It blocks so much sun while it’s on yet allows me to see out when I’m checking before I merge or turn. It also has the white hot spot to remind me when the car is hot. I need to get another for the other back window now and see if it can stretch enough for my back window to keep the sun out.

Great for travel and use with rental cars too. It literally takes a few seconds to attach it to the metal window frames and it can fit in your pocket! Even though the backseat windows of my car are already tinted, this gave some extra protection. Keep in mind that you can't really use it on the rear driver's seat window because it'll block you from checking your blindspot, but it worked just fine on the passenger side. I also like the easy installation and ability to move the shade to a different window depending on where we need the sun coverage. The little hooks on the edge of the shade were handy to mold the shade to the shape of the window. I imagine the big size of the shade would be good for a van window.

Like the title says I’m very happy with this purchase. Fits my the window in the back seat of my truck like it was made for it. The magnets are strong. And they are flat and don’t interfere with the weather stripping or closing of the door, which was a worry of mine before purchasing. Window can still function normally.

This installs super easily and has great coverage! You can open the windows too! A corner pops off the window sometimes when I open the door, but it's easy to stick the corner back where it belongs. No more sun shining in my toddler's eyes!
