Q: can this only be placed on the headrests? wanted to place car seat in the middle but there is no headrest there

Q: Is it battery powered? Which batteries? How long before a change of batteries?

A: Yes, battery powered. I want to say AA and 2032 but I had to change both batteries within days of buying the mirror and still had issues so honeslty have just stopped using the lights

A: yes, it is plastic... which sadly also means it is VERY easy to scratch
