A: Based on their description, the dimensions are different. This one is wider and the grip is linger, measuring longer than my standard toilet seat. This has a hard boy guard and the grip has s more flexible one. It also seems the grip has more of a grip.

A: There is a small "pee guard" hump for boys, but it does not work well in my opinion. If the boy is seated far back it does a better job of blocking the stream, but then he is not positioned properly for a bowel movement.
