A: Our reference to “gain and strength” is specific to muscle mass, and not necessarily mass in general. Weight gain is a result of being in an energy surplus (i.e. taking in more calories in than are expended). Muscle Milk products could aid in weight gain if they are consumed on top of an adequate calorie diet, but they are not formulated specifically for weight gain.

This protein powder tastes like drywall, quite literally. The taste was foreshadowed by the smell but I was hopefully it would be better. It wasn't. I even ate it in oatmeal and the awful taste was still apparent.

This is a high quality protein supplement that works well with my diet. It doesn't waste the calories on adding too many carbs or fats. I recommend you adding your own non calorie sweetener for a sweeter taste, and some high quality fats like olive oil,

Very sweet, I did not like this. I have to mix half of another protein powder with half of this in order to make it edible. Disappointed with this big name-brand and will not be repurchasing. Dissolves easily I guess with no clumps. Intense vanilla flavor is indeed intense.

I can't compare the quality of the protein to other brands, but some things to consider if you are shopping for this: It tastes very strongly of coconut. It said flavor was vanilla, but the overwhelming flavor is coconut, which I do not like. Maybe you will... Also, this is nit-picky, but the scoop was buried near the bottom of the canister, so you have to did through the whole can of powder to obtain the scoop the first time.

The taste is amazing, doesn’t taste like protein if you add the correct mount of milk! Obviously if you don’t put as much that’s needed, and put the powder first, it’ll clump up but follow directions and it’s perfect! Way more protein than whey and other brands without the taste!

The taste of this is not that bad however, this does NOT mix well. Lumps of protein stay in your shake, the consistency is just horrible. Serving size is 2 scoops for 50grms of protein & that’s a lot of powder that just makes your shake thick, clumpy & nasty.

Rather chalky but not nearly as bad as their strawberry flavor. A nice thing about this product is that even if you only have part of the shake you've made, you can walk away from it for awhile and when you come back, it hasn't separated, like SlimFast shakes do. This one's tons of protein make it a no-brainer for anyone interested in keeping their muscle mass intact and their energy up.

Recently changed to this a month and a half ago. I used previously coffee flavor, 32grams. Big difference here!! Don’t feel so sore, after my workouts, plus I see a big difference in muscle mass than before with the 32grams. Can’t go wrong with this protein!

It tastes pretty gross with water along with the bad aftertaste but it has 50 g of protein per serving so it’s not all bad.
