These are truly terrible. I love a good moochi but the rice wrap is thin and the green tea flavor is so subpar and fake tasting. Not a fan.

Wow yummy delicious! All I can say they are the perfect touch of sweetness💚 FYI they do NOT taste like pickles. I literally had pickles right before snacking on these mochis and they definitely taste like green tea 😋! I was ordering more online and saw the comments and had to reassure you guys they don’t taste like pickles.

Tastes like Starbucks’ matcha green tea latte if made right! It’s not supposed to be sweet. I’m Asian and I know ceremonial grade matcha, this is very close. Don’t listen to the pickle white people. Buy it! I ordered 7 boxes to stock up lol

This matcha mochi is sooo good. The mochi texture is soft and chewy, and the matcha ice cream is delicious. It’s a perfect matcha flavor, but probably not for people who are used to overly sweet, milky matcha flavors.

So lots of people say these taste like pickles. I can see why. There's definitely a brief window when you first bite it that has a dill pickle taste. However, this fades pretty quickly, and after the second bite it's gone. I can't explain what's going on, but I get it. Beyond that, there's just not a lot of flavor. I'd much rather have a matcha green tea latte or something to get the real green tea flavor I was hoping these would have. I prefer the other flavors I've tried from this brand, for sure, which is disappointing because I like the less traditional flavors for mochi. Maybe the pickle flavor is like cilantro: some people taste the herb, others soap. Who knows.
