Q: Why would you put Gypsy Rose Blanchards book in your store, she had her mother murdered for gods sake. It's 260 pages of so many lies, she makes people sick. I'm so disappointed in Target, you were my store.

The amount of lies and inconsistencies in this book are absolutely mind blowing! I've read through her and Nicks texts, through her medical records, watched the interrogations, all the documentaries, and listened to probably every interview she's done. I had a VERY hard time making it through this book because it's literally page after page of lies. Gypsy herself stated that her mother taught her to be a VERY good liar with no conscience and that she has never told the truth, even to her own attorney. Those statements are probably the only thing she's ever told the truth about. This book is nothing more than another manipulation tactic by Gypsy to gain sympathy by playing victim and further profit off her crime. She's a pathological liar and a better con artist than her mother was. No bookstore should promoting this garbage!

Very inappropriate, if I could give it negative stars I would. Save your coin friends. She should be locked up just for writing this book and get 10 years extra for every person who has been exposed to even one page.

The inconsistency of this book is frustrating to read. I am not sure what age group it is for. It won’t be used as a teaching tool like certain other books due to the inaccuracies in the book. Every chapter has references to private acts and food together. I wonder what other suitable things we are overlooking. I do not think it is appropriate. I think her mother would have written a more tasteful book. I wish she was still around to tell her side in all of this. It really makes me sad. This is a publicity stunt gone too far.

Disgusting Book of Lies

Every page contradicts the true, real life events. Every. Page. The evidence completely proves clearly otherwise, for example Gypsy says she was put into a pink shed that matched the color of her house and it, according to Gypsy, had BIG trash bags everywhere and claimed the floor of the shed was made of dirt with bugs(slugs, fire ants, spiders, etc). . Huge lies among many. Crime scene evidence in reality shows photos of this exact shed being light blue with a neat red carpet, no trash bags or bugs... This book is a big phony like GYP

This book is full of lies. Please do not buy this book and support someone who not only ended her own mother’s life, but went on to victim blame after. Just look into the files that are not just what Gypsy said. The actually documents prove she lied about everything. If you are really curious about this book and want to know all her lies, you can check it out from your local library or on the Libby app online for free. This will insure she does not benefit financially from it. Also it will really cut into her profits if everyone just checks them out from libraries. Check out #beccascoops #sirmorbidx

Lies and it’s very sexualized . So if you do want to read it don’t allow children to get it . She contradicts herself in her other statements she’s said . It’s not very good and it’s such lies . Do your research about this girl she needs to go back to prison.

Hello - 19 days ago
I've been undecided about Gypsy Rose so I've been doing my own research. The "tube" has open my eyes as there is solid proof, her interrogation, medical records, interviews, etc. I bought this book to compare to the facts I've learned. Not only does this book contradict known facts of this case, but she's been lying so much that she's even now contracting herself. This book is all a lie, but it's also very very disturbing. Parts of this book have made me physically ill. Please d,o not bother with this book, it's terrible.

Poorly written, with lies upon lies. First chapter she completely contradicts everything she's said previously. This book should be removed from shelves since this murderer is quite literally profiting off of killing her own mother. Absolutely horrible! She tries to "take control of the narrative" however all she has accomplished is making it clear to the world that she still doesn't accept responsibility for her role in everything. I felt like I was reading something written by a 13 year old. Absolutely shameless this "author" is! Save your money! Don't read or wait till it's free at a library in the FICTION section where it belongs!

Essentially, it’s a book filled with fabrications where the killer (gypsy) attempts to manipulate and alter the narrative after many years. After reading this book, I've noticed numerous inconsistencies between her earlier stories and the current ones. This is why I believe this book is purely fictional.

She is a pathological liar! Anyone who has done any research on this knows that she lies and got away with murder literally when the 24yr old ADULT could have literally just walked out the door. Now she is adding accusations to Nick Godejohn that he SA'd her. This poor autistic man was never given a fair trial. In ANY other state besides Missouri she would have also gotten a life sentence. Does anyone realize her mom would still be alive had she not manipulated him to do this. She grifted with her mom for years and continues to do so. This was a grown adult who is making money off murder. She was never physically abused by anyone. She takes ideas people put in her head and then all of the sudden..."oh ya, that happened to me too" Not only that she stole a house and many make a wish trips from a child who actually deserved it.

An account of a liar

Gypsy Rose Blanchard's My Time To Stand is an interesting read when you begin reading the book. However once you make it past the first page you start to notice the inconsistancies in her narrative from her previous book and interviews. Gypsy Rose Blanchard should not be celebrated as a "survivor" or a "hero" because all of her stories and accounts have been proven to be false through medical records released by the Blanchard family themselves to the public and the constant changes in the stories that Gypsy Rose Blanchard has told through her interviews. If you want an honest account of Blanchard's story watch Becca Sccops on YouTube to get the whole ugly, unfiltered, unbiased truth.
