A: A steam cleaner would be okay to use, however, we recommend you should try it on a hidden area first to make sure it does not affect the color/fabric.

I am so incredibly disappointed with this glider and company "namesake", no longer million dollar baby. Originally purchased at BBB because it was beautiful, comfortable looking and greenguard certified. When my son turned one, it began not just creaking but literally shifting when I (130 lb, my son 20 lb) sat on it - like the whole frame shifts and wiggles. It is the most unsupportive ridiculously malfunctioned chair I own. I paid $600 for ONE year of use. Comparitively, my super cheap $200 davinvi glider I bought for my first child works perfectly - sturdy, can sit with both kids, no creaking, 3 years later. If the chair wasnt disappointing enough, The company will not stand behind their product. I only got around to contacting Namesake when my son was 18 months, which is apparently 6 months past the warranty. I have no words for how insanetly frustrating it is to spend almost Pottery Barn level $ on a chair that is total garbage and that the companty refuses to stand behind their products and make it right. Moral of the story, don't just buy a glider because its beautiful, lesson learned and last time I buy any furniture from this company. I wish I could add a video to this review to show how unstable and loose the frame is.

I’ve barely used the rocker for six months and it squeaks really bad when you are rocking. It is comfy though.
Seatcushion is NOT removable.

I do really love this chair even though online the description says the seat cushion is removable but is not. The base is all one price, sewn together and the seat cushion is not removable as described - so maybe hard to keep cleanI and took a star off for that. The chair is comfortable and swivels and rocks smoothly but appears to be slightly back heavy and can tip backwards without took much effort. So make sure children are not be too overzealous if rocking. Have not tested out the fabric to see if it is waterproof yet but hoping that part of the description is true.

I wish I had tried this chair out before purchasing online… But we need a chair quickly for our nursery and a lot of places just didn’t have chairs in the store. We’ve had about four months now. It definitely squeaks quite a bit while rocking. I’m fairly tall, 5’8” and would not recommend this chair if you’re planning to breast-feed. It is very comfortable, but you sit back so far in the chair at that it’s definitely not an optimal angle. My feet barely touch the floor if I’m sitting with my back against the back of the chair. I’ve been to friends houses and used their nursery chairs to breast-feed and a more upright chair with a less deep seat makes more sense. This is our first though so I didn’t know! Three stars because it is as pictured and looks good in the room. Not five, because I didn’t serve the purpose I needed and squeaks badly after only 4 months of use.

We love this glider! We were nervous buying online with little reviews but we’re so happy with it. It rocks and glides, very comfy, and so aesthetically pleasing! I do wish it reclined and was maybe a little softer, but still very happy with our purchase.

I was hesitant to get this because there were no reviews on it. I looked into so many gliders for the nursery and so many of them said that they started squeaking after a couple of months. We’re only 1 month into having our baby, but I have lived in this glider night and day and it is so comfortable. I ended returning the ottoman for a less expensive pouf. I wish that they had the option of an ottoman that doesn’t glide as well. I love the fact that it includes the lumbar pillow! If you’re looking for a great nursery option, this is it!!
