Q: Does any of the Native deodorant containss alcohol? I am looking looking for no alcohol deo?

submitted by Hussain K - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Hussain, Thanks for reaching out to us! The following ingredients are included within Native deodorant: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: An oil made from coconuts that makes Native go on smooth Tapioca Starch: Extracted from the cassava plant Ozokerite: Also known as earth wax and is great at naturally stabilizing all the ingredients Sodium Bicarbonate: Also known as baking soda, found in cakes and cookies - helps neutralize odor-causing bacteria Magnesium Hydroxide: Also found in antacids like Milk of Magnesia, Magnesium Hydroxide partners with baking soda to help neutralize odor-causing bacteria Coconut Oil: Also known as Cocos Nucifera Oil - we can’t get enough of it - is packed with rich fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants Cyclodextrin: This sugar-based ingredient from starch that slowly releases additional scent throughout the day to keep you smelling fresh Shea Butter: Also known as Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, a great moisturizer that holds antioxidants and vitamins Glucose: A simple sugar (Dextrose) made from corn Lactobacillus Acidophilus: a natural probiotic/bacteria found in your body already Our scented deodorants include a proprietary blend of oils, while our Unscented Deodorant does not. Due to FDA recommendations, we use the term "fragrance" to refer to these oils. Let us know if you have any other questions, we're here to help :)

Q: How long is this stick expected to last?

submitted by LetitiaJoy - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi LetitiaJoy, Thanks for your question. To give you the heads up, the typical timeline that a deodorant lasts is about 3-4 months, depending on your usage. Just apply 2-3 swipes in each armpit, and you are good to go. We hope this answers your question. -Native

Q: Is this product naturally or synthetically fragranced? Ingredients listed just say "fragrance"

submitted by Meg - 5 years ago
  • A: Hi Meg, Thanks for reaching out to us! We use the term fragrance for proprietary reasons. All of our products are sulfate, paraben, and phthalate-free, which are the top concerns when people see fragrance listed. We use well-established scientific methods to ensure every ingredient is safe, including fragrance, following the same process as regulatory agencies around the world! We completely understand the need for transparency and we would recommend using Lavender & Rose, Unscented, or our holiday Cane Cane deodorant if you are looking for an option where all of the oils are labeled. We will make sure your comments here are passed along to our team as well! We hope this helps to answer your question. Feel free to reach back out if you need anything else.
