Q: Would this be good for an incontinent dog who has a history of chronic constipation? Does this firm up their stool even more or will it help regulate it and make it easier to pass?

A: Use 1 scoop (1/2 tbsp) for every 50 lbs of body weight. For example, for dogs under 50 lbs, use 1 scoop daily. For dogs over 50 lbs, use 2 scoops daily.

Q: why couldn't this formula also be used for a cat? The ingredient list of probiotic strains & FOS are ones I see for cat probiotics also.

My dog had a bout of watery diarrhea for 3 days and this mixed with 91% ground beef with rice cleared it up in 2 days. It's also less expensive than the Fortiflora that my vet used to recommend. Just note that if you are a first time user, the scoop is actually buried in the powder. It's not the metal tray under the lid.

His previous family said he had been like that for years. After 2 days on this probiotic his gas was gone and shortly after his bowel movements were normal. Will never be without this on hand!

Our puppy loves this as a topper on her food, so can I split up the dosage and give her 1/2 on top of her breakfast and the other 1/2 on top of her supper? Also, I read somewhere that this probiotic contains L. Planturum, but don’t see that listed on the container. Thanks!

Instructions read: 1 scoop per 50 lbs of dog weight, ex 15 lb dog gets 1 scoop. This math makes no sense, a 15 lb dog should only get 1/3 of a scoop. I have a 3 lb dog so please update your instructions bc if I were to give her 1/3 of a scoop she will probably end up with GI issues.

I tried this probiotic per Pomeranian breeder recommendation to address my 14yr old standard Pom's intestinal sensitivity and compulsive grass eating. Within two weeks of 1/4 tsp added to his morning meal, his stools appeared more solid, intact and uniform. He has also stopped eating grass and appears to have more energy. Very happy with this product.
