I liked that there was an alternative to the regular whole grain cookie and bars. I tried both brownie selections and favored this one over the salted caramel. While I do believe this product deserves a try, for me I'll get my chocolate fix elsewhere.

These used to be 2oz and had flaxseed in them, they used to be so good. Now, much like every other massive corporate food company, shrinkflation has affected the brownie bars. I lived off these things in college, and now they’ve removed ingredients and replaced them with more canola oil instead. Dates used to be higher on the ingredients list than canola oil. These bars are now mostly oil and flour. The taste is still chocolatey, but somehow despite removing the flaxseed, these have gotten a weirder, grainier texture to them. They used to have “wholesome” ingredients - just flour, sugar, chocolate, sea salt, flaxseed. Now they’re full of “natural flavors”, gum acacia, glycerine. I wouldn’t recommend consuming these to anyone.
