Vitamins are vitamins, unfortunately. These have a very strong fish smell which I find tough to get by. I’ve tried another brand from another store that I really liked and had no fish scent, but you can’t beat the value of these.

I was taking these before and during pregnancy and had a perfectly healthy baby. The capsules are a bit on the larger side so may be harder to swallow for some, but I had no issues with this. No issues with taste or leaking. These do the job but are pricey.

The new orange scent is absolutely disgusting. The scent makes them hard to swallow, causing gagging. Wish you had the option for the original and the “scent.”

I thoroughly appreciate the orange scent in these softgels. It makes taking my prenatal a more enjoyable experience. There is a hint of orange flavor which is nice but I skip the sugar of a gummy, plus it has iron! Which, gummies hardly ever include iron and when they do, the taste is terrible. These avoid the issue of gagging down a giant chalk favored tablet without the extra expense, and no unnecessary sugar intake like with gummies. I am very pleased with this product.

This is my 3rd pregnancy taking these prenatals but this was the first bottle that came with the “new orange scent” and at first I thought it was neat because it did cover up the fishy taste I remembered from my first pregnancies. Now about 6 weeks into the bottle the smell when the bottle opens is putrid, the pills are all oily and the fish taste is even stronger than the original, add in a rotten “orange” taste and I am almost to the point I can’t swallow them without gagging it back up.

I just finished my first bottle and have been loving these prenatals, they don't upset my stomach and I went to buy another only to discover they have now scented a pill orange??? Its TERRIBLE, also WHY?!? its a pill and was great the way it is. The new ones not only smell super strong and terrible they also irritate my stomach in a way the old ones never did. PLEASE PLEASE bring back the unscented ones!! You took an excellent product and ruined it for no reason.

Orange is one of the most gag-worthy flavors to pregnant women because of the horrible glucose drink. Anyone who has ever vomited the glucose drink… remember how it smelt coming up? Yeah, that’s this product’s scent. Yum. The previous product I have used daily for 4 years while pregnant and then nursing two different children.

These have been my go to vitamins for over three years. I’ve taken them while trying to conceive, during my pregnancy, while breastfeeding, and once again while trying to conceive. I didn’t realize the last bottle I got was “orange scented” they are horrific! I want to throw up just thinking about how it smells when I open the jar. It’s bad when you’re not pregnant and unbearable while you are. I plug my nose and choke down my pill because they are expensive but once this bottle is gone I am going to purchase a different brand.

They do have a *slight* hint of orange smell to them, but this has not bothered me and I don’t smell it all the time. Otherwise they are just fine. I’m surprised at the amount of negative reviews. Finding good, independently verified supplements is sometimes hard.

Nature Made is a great brand for vitamins, and their prenatal vitamins are the best! My only complaint with these are that they don’t contain choline and they aren’t as good as the gummies.

I have been taking Nature Made Prenatals for 3 years now over the course of 2 pregnancies without issues and felt confident in my decision of brand. The most recent bottle I got smelt and tasted so horrible. After opening, I realized it was labeled “orange scent”. I’m not sure if the nutritional formula changed because I had thrown out the old bottle already but the orange is disgusting to smell and to swallow. It even leaves a lingering taste. I’m going to need to switch brands now, which is really frustrating.
