The slice bread came in between the heavy merchandise and was squash. I returned to the lady and she took it back.

I have bought your Honeywheat ever since you came out with the brand and I always enjoyed it. The only purchased this product until now. What did you do to it. No flavor, color has changed (looks more like white bread) and taste is bland. The best used date is Oct 28 24 , code 23 0140 281 11:42 2. If this

Not sure what the company changed about this bread, but doesn't taste the same anymore not as soft also. At first I thought I might of bought a almost past date one but last few times it's been the same, stale nasty taste.

Shrinkflation.

The size of the bread has absolutely shrunk over the last year. The cost of all types of Nature's Own loaves has also gone up at least 50% over the last year where I live for no seemingly good reason (on sale, even!). Our family always bought it because it was decent, but also cheap. Now it's just no better than the cheapest bargain brand, at almost 50% more cost, and there's clearly extra room in the bags now that didn't used to be there. Just not even worth it anymore. I can't even recommend Nature's Own anymore, when it's been the staple sandwich bread in our house for over 25 years. Rather get fresh baked, quality bread if I was paying these prices now.

I have purchased this product for over 15 years. I believe recently a change to this product was made that resulted in a slightly harder and tougher product. I will begin looking for a product that is similar to your prior product. And PLEASE don’t reply we take quality seriously or some s—- like that. Fix it or you lose this customer. BTW, thanks for 15+ years of a superior product.

I’m sadden by the shrinking bread slices but this is really unacceptable. Listen if someone messed up in manufacturing then don’t put the product out to be sold. Such it up as a loss. If this is the “new” size then I’ll find another brand. But in all seriousness the first slice was two inches and the middle slice was only three inches. And allll the packages were that size. Did you change the calorie count to accommodate the smaller slice? Just curious. Please listen the reviews and bring back the bigger slices.

No Longer A Staple In My House

2 out of 5 stars
Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend
JStew - 5 months ago, Verified purchaser
It's disappointing but they had to go and change the bread for the worse. I used to be able to rely on grabbing a loaf or 2 of this every week but now the slices are so thin, they don't hold up to spreading peanut butter or cream cheese without falling apart. So thin and frail is each slice that my overall sandwiches are just diminished. Off to go find a new brand. I still gave this 2 stars because it's fine for toast. Taste is still good.

What Happened!

I have been buying Nature's Own Honey Wheat bread for years and have always been pleased with taste and quality of this bread. However, in the last year and a half I noticed that the slices of bread felt lighter and had more holes in it and doesn't have as much flavor. Also, the bread appears to not have been mixed properly because the center of each slice is slightly discolored from the rest of the slice. I tried switching to Nature's Own White wheat and noticed the same issue. Slices feel lighter/thinner, more holes and slight discoloration in each slice of bread. Please fix whatever happened to this bread!

My bread arrived flatten out by other heavier items leaning or rolling on the bread. It just goes against the nature of a nice sandwich when your bread is all wonky looking. Please feel free to forward my comments further up the chain. I've never had issues with my purchases except this one. Please show your shoppers how to package bread…thank you

Shameful Size Reduction

Mom - 9 months ago

I'm almost embarrassed for you guys. I've been buying your brand for over 6 years. My kids demanded that I would make their school sandwiches with it each day. Yes, 4 sandwiches 5 days a week most weeks. Now they complain that I'm putting snack size sandwiches in their lunch bags. I'm using and spending twice as much on this bread because it seems you habe adopted the 40K Olive effect. Smaller and less bread slices same size bag. I'm not sorry that I will have to now spead my money elsewhere because your new snack size bread doesn't give my kids what they need to get through their school day and my budget can't withstand double the cost. It's a shame that a sandwich used to be someones meal now its almost not even a snack. To bad your promise didn't include reliable quality.

This has been the sandwich bread of choice for our family for years. It has always been the best for freshness, taste, and quality. Lately however, I have noticed that the quality has diminished, and slices are not as 'soft' as before making the bread seem as if it isn't really fresh. And please don't tell me you haven't changed the size of the loaf. Yes, there may be the same number of slices, but the height is noticeably lower. When I place a regular slice of lunch meat on the slice it hangs over on all four sides. I'm thinking we may have to revert to rolls or something else after all these years. I feel like I did when they went from 5 lb. bags of sugar to 4 lb bags. Cheated.
