These supplements come in a standard size capsule that’s easy to swallow. I haven’t experienced any aftertaste or stomach issues while taking. But nowhere on the packaging does it state what the actual ingredients are supposed to help with like other supplements, such as immune support, “brain health”, beauty formula etc. so unless you already know what the ingredients are supposed to do, you’ll have to google while shopping in store. I’ve taken elderberry supplements in the past, so I know they are supposed to help with immune support and lessening cold symptoms. I’m not sure these are quite potent enough as I did get a pretty severe cold within a week of first starting and I’m still quite under the weather as of reviewing. I’ll probably discard the rest and go back to the other elderberry supplement I’ve taken in the past that did help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been taking Nature’s Truth Black Elderberry for a couple weeks now and don’t plan on stopping any time soon. The bottle has a flip top lid, which is convenient. The quick release capsules are relatively small and easy to swallow and do not have any kind of bad odor or after taste. The directions for adults are to take (2) capsules daily, preferably with a meal. A serving size is 2 capsules. Each serving is equivalent to 2,000 mg of Sambucus Black Elderberry. I noticed I was feeling nauseous during the first week of taking these; however, I cannot say it was caused by this. Just in case, I cut my serving size down to 1 per day and the nausea went away. I still cannot say it was because of this product, but I want to document my experience. I always eat a little something before taking my vitamins and supplements and make sure I drink plenty of water. I love that this product is Non-GMO and free of gluten, wheat, yeast, milk, lactose, soy, artificial flavor and artificial sweetener, as well as preservatives. The ingredients consist of Sambucus black elderberry, rice powder, gelatin capsule, beet root color, vegetable magnesium stearate, and silica. Aside from the nausea in the beginning, I haven’t had any negative side effects since I’ve been taking Nature’s Truth Black Elderberry. I feel good, whether that is because of this product or something else, I cannot say with certainty. The capsules are easy to swallow and are Gluten Free. Each service offers 2,000MG of the Sambucus Black Elderberry. They are super convenient, concentrated offering you a quick release capsule. The taste is a little strong but that quickly disappears. It’s priced very reasonably and competitively. Natures Truth has always been a high quality and great company. Love all the products they offer.

Nature's Truth is one of the few brands that has 2000mg per capsule. It helps improve your immune system at the cellular level and along with Zinc and Vitamin D3, I have fought off upper respiratory issues when they start showing symptoms. I wished I had known about this combination earlier in life. I've adverted the start of several colds in the past 4 years with this product.
