The dropper sucks. Imagine holding a babies mouth open for 40 seconds, even 15 seconds is a long time for an infant. The older my baby gets the less patience he has with it. By the time the drop comes out he’s already wailing around, i feel horrible holding him down in place. All the chaos, half the time i have no idea where the drop has even landed, if not it’s no where near my child’s mouth. It’s torture! Why wouldn’t they make this a squeeze dropper bottle so it only comes out one drop at a time once you squeeze and immediately not waiting for the liquid to build up into a drop. It’s like they weren’t thinking of babies at all when they thought this up. I’m so sorry for all the babies this product has frustrated especially because this is what most hospitals prescribe.

I got a bottle of this vitamin D at my newborns hospital and boy, the dropper is just terrible! The baby already takes a while to find the nipple and latch on, but when I try to use this dropper, by the time the drop comes out (could be 30 sec to a minute for me to get the drop out horizontally), the drop usually rolls off the bottle neck and down the bottle, or some goes down the bottle and some ends up on the nipple, and by the time an unknown drop amount gets on the nipple, the baby is so frustrated at waiting that they smear it all over their face before latching on. At this pace I don't even know if my baby is getting any vitamin D. And at the same time I dont want to overdose either by repeating the drop. It's a fail. I'm done with this bottle and dropper.

Love the ingredients in this vitamin D. The one we got from the pharmacy had a bunch of added junk in it. Switched to this cleaner one. It is so easy. One drop on the nipple right before feeding. Turn it completely upside down, if it’s taking too long to come out you can gently tap the bottom of it. Super simple.

I have used many vitamin d droppers and this is by far the worse. I am a healthcare professional and read the directions to hold it horizontally instead of vertically and the drop takes a very long time come out. When it does, it gets all over the neck of the bottle and the bottle itself. It’s a waste of product and time trying to aim at a newborns mouth. There needs to be a quality check with this product.
