Nature Spring Offset Outdoor Umbrella Cover - Heavy-Duty Waterproof Protection for Banana Frame Umbrellas

Purchased 1 year ago and kept on umbrella. Today I inserted the rod to remove the cover, and it went right through the top!! Once I got it down and inspected it, I found it to have multiple lines of cracking inside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Offset Umbrella Patio Cover to protect my cantilever patio umbrella. The cover is made of a durable canvas like material which is polyester and waterproofed. It is also UV protected. It as a heavy duty metal zipper, some clips and an elastic cord so you can tighten the cover around your umbrella. I have a 10 foot umbrella but this cover can be used with up to an 11.5 foot circular umbrella. There is also a long fiberglass pole to help lift the cover on and off the umbrella. It is a sturdy tan in color cover. It looks as though it will last for years. I am pleased with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I removed the Offset Outdoor Umbrellas Cover from the plastic packaging, I discovered a metal rod was included. At first, I wasn’t sure of its purpose because no instructions were included but I later found a grommet on the cover that clued me into realizing that the rod is for lifting the cover into the air. As I approach my umbrella, I begin to wonder if it might be easier to unzip the cover partially to expose the opening so I could help navigate it onto the umbrella better. This definitely seemed to help. I inserted the end of the metal rod into the grommet and extended it with one arm while maneuvering the cover with my other arm. At first, it was a bit of a challenge (I’m 5’11” and still had to stand on my tip-toes) but I made a game of it (kind of like a carnival but without a prize) and managed to wrangle it on. Then, with a whip of one hand on one side and the metal rod on the other, I was able to twist and tug on the cover and pull it into place (as much as possible). It never pulled down to fully cover the umbrella because the solar panel on my particular umbrella would not fit into the top portion of this cover. I would expect that most typical umbrellas would fit nicely. The cover has a strap that wraps around and secures with a buckle to help secure it further and keep it from blowing away during heavy winds. The material is very durable and well-made with good stitching and the zippers glide nicely. I would recommend this cover to anyone looking to protect their umbrella from the elements. Just be prepared to do a little wrangling.

My husband put it over our umbrella and zipped it within a couple minutes, so very easy to use. The material is water wicking so I think it will keep the elements out! Very excited about it.
