This is good hair color and I've been using it for years because it's got better ingredients, covers gray hair and the color turns out well. I mix it with another shade to get the right color because, as with every color, it comes out darker than on the box.

No ammonia smell, no chemical smell and basically no smell at all. Works great and covers gray quite well. This is the only brand of hair color I buy now-but in a shade other than hazelnut blonde. This shade turned my dark brunette hair very red.

First off, if there is one thing I have come to realize from reading the reviews, it's that, as with any hair color, the results are very individual. The color you end up with will depend on the condition of your hair, the type of hair you have, what other color you have used on it in the recent past, and how well it holds color, among other things. Here is my personal experience: My hair is fine, and slightly dry from using over the counter, drug store hair color. I had also previously used henna, and let that grow out before I colored with regular hair color. My natural color is medium chestnut brown, with reddish highlights in the sun. It normally takes color very well and quickly. I have approximately 20% gray, mostly on the top and around my temples. The gray hair is a little more resistant to color and comes out lighter. I colored my hair with the Naturtint 7N Hazelnut Brown yesterday. I am very pleased with the results. The color I now have is a little bit lighter than I previously had and is a nice, soft medium brown on the middle and ends, and my grays have turned what I would call a "sun-kissed" caramel, light brown. (I guess you could also call it "Hazelnut.") It looks very natural and I also have the Hazelnut, light brown highlights throughout to the ends. I don't see any red or orange - it looks more like a "caramel" to me. So, for the rest of the summer, this will do just fine to hide my grays. I did leave it on for the full 40 minutes. The condition of my hair, after using the enclosed conditioner, is very soft and shiny, and looks much healthier than it did with other hair color brands I have used. I will keep it conditioned by using a non-silicone, natural conditioner after every shampoo. The smell was mild and pleasant, and I had no burning or itching. I did do a strand and sensitivity test before coloring. I am very pleased and will use this again. I may try the "Dark Blonde" for winter. These colors, on dark hair, are not blonde, but give light brown highlights.

I like the color 7N Hazelnut Blonde because it gives me a natural look. I did not want to be a yellow blonde, but wanted a more natural darker shade -- and this delivers.

I have been using this hair color for several years. It is close to my natural color, pretty easy to apply. I get compliments all the time. I am sure to put plenty of conditioner on after shampoo because color will dry your hair. I am happy with this product.

I was very nicely surprised by how well it covers gray and how easy it was to use. There was no smell. I hope the color lasts! I've only had it for a week. So far, so good! This color has a copper tone, I like it. Do not get if not fond of copper.

I have been using Naturtint for about a year. I was so pleased to find a product without ammonia. The application is as easy as one would like it to be, and every time I complete the dye, wash and blow out, I'm reminded of why I buy two boxes at a time! It makes my hair look as it did for years and years. Great color, some shine, behaves well.

I had bought this product previously and was pleased to find it on Swanson. When you mix the color, it has an unsettling orange-y tint, and it takes just a tad more time than the traditional bottled color, but it works great and color is true. Swanson's price is more reasonable than my local health food store's.

My natural hair is very dark so this color didn't come out the way I wanted. It was easy to use and may work better for someone with naturally lighter hair color.
