Summary of reviews
This neti pot is a popular choice among guests seeking relief from sinus congestion and allergies. Many appreciate its effectiveness in clearing nasal passages and providing immediate relief from sinus pressure. However, concerns about its plastic quality and leaking issues have been noted. Despite these drawbacks, guests find it a convenient option for travel and a good alternative to traditional nasal sprays, especially when paired with saline packets.

Have had a netipot for as long as I can remember and I used to have the light blue pot that worked great but I just purchased a new one the clear dark blue pot and before I could even use it, it is leaking from the cracks. Go to use it and it’s leaking all over my face. For the price this product has been made so cheaply it’s disappointing considering the one I had before worked great.

Don’t like it how it fits my nose and it keeps leaking from the lid or somewhere. Otherwise it works like the other versions.

I have been doing nasal sinus rinses for well over a decade because I suffer from chronic sinusitis. I have a very nice ceramic neti pot that I have been using for years and I typically use the Himalayan Chandra Nettie salt which is very soothing on my sinuses. I needed a lightweight plastic pot to take with me while I'm traveling, so purchased this one. The plastic is very cheap. I've had it for about 2 days and there are areas where the pot is starting to crack and come apart. I don't see this lasting very long. It also comes with many tiny salt packages which I tried. I was not a fan of the salt. Very drying on my sinuses. This is very expensive for what you get. Highly recommend that you purchase a ceramic pot that will last much longer. Many homeopathic stores and online sell them. However, if you need a neti pot to travel, this is a good one.

I should have gotten a Neti Pot sooner. I was desperate this time around and needed something to help with the horrible congestion I was having. This definitely helped! It was not near as bad as I thought it would be to pour water in one nostril and have it come out the other… that always scared me but it really was not bad at all and it seemed to be very effective in overcoming my cold!

The instructions state that you need to replace the bottle/neti pot every 3 months... when was the last time you had 2 sinus related colds within a 3 month period? Not often, which means you only get to use this for like 1-2 sicknesses before you have to toss it. What a wasteful business making cheap plastic garbage that you toss quickly. PLEASE spend you money on a porcelain Neti pot along with a gallon if distilled water and saline packets. You'll spend only about $20 and you don't have to throw the pot out. There are plenty of good ones on Amazon.

You need to wash it prior to each use and use sterilized (boiled for at least 5 mins) water or bottled water. It takes a bit of time but works better than one time use nasal rinse/sprays. I used one packet for each use and it did not cause irritation. You could also use two if you need it to be stronger.

I thought the tip would be too big, but it actually works out very well. I’ve been using this for a long time and decided to get another one for campus.

I have been using Neti pots for quite some time now. You're supposed to replace them every so often to avoid bacteria, so I picked this one since I was already at Target. The base is much wider than the Neti pots I've used previously. With other pots, I've been able to put the salt in, and then pour the distilled water on top of it. There is typically enough movement with the action of the pour to mix the water aedquately without stirring it. And for those who don't already use netti pots, the water must be mixed, because without the salt rinsing is painful. In the case of this pot I am unable to pour in such a way that it creates enough movement to mix without stirring. I believe it is because the base is so wide. In addition the part that goes to the nose is more bulbous and less pointed then other pots, so this creates less precise use. The one thing I do really like is that there is a fill line for how much water you should use.

This thing is amazing. I was skeptical about the process at first but I’m a believer now. I recently used it while having the flu and it got soooo much mucus out of my nose and really helped with the sinus pressure.

I suffer from severe allergies and this was the first time I’ve used this. My doctor never recommended this I just happen to stumble across it while buying otc medication. It helped clear up my congestion within two days! Usually I would be stuffy for two weeks!

I remember watching my mom use this as a kid and I’d always get a kick out of her dramatic use of it, but now as an adult, I have sinusitis galore! After months of sinus issues and over a week of extreme pressure, headaches and dizziness, I decided to buy. Read and use as described as far as water, cleaning and portioning. There’s a lot of instructions in the packet, but it covers a range of products, not just this one (so don’t let that deter you from reading). I bought this today, so upon my first use, I boiled water, cooled it and gave the pot a try. When cleaning, there were no issues with leaking; however, once I went to use it with the salt solution, that’s when the leaking started. I would, as the prior reviews say, buy a ceramic neti elsewhere for long term use if the leaking bothers you (plus it’s recommended to replace every 3 months per the package). The one nice thing about this is all the salt solution packets! I felt more relief and less drainage immediately afterwards, but the pressure is still there. I’ll give it a few more tries and hope it works since prescribed medication isn’t! Overall, I would recommend this for immediate drainage relief, but buy a better pot if you plan to use long term!

Felt a bit overwhelmed when I started looking at the instruction booklet but once I found the directions for use it was easy to understand. I had been suffering headaches from severe congestion and this helped clear out the mucus built up and provided immediate relief. Highly recommend. At first it is a weird feeling like you went under water without holding your nose but the initial discomfort is worth the relief.
