I would not recommend it for smaller children. My 4 year old can not hold it up but my 8 year old has no issues. This is well made life all of Nerf products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Fortnite Nerf blaster is huge ! My son is eight, and he had so much fun loading this nerf gun up and blasting his little sister. And of course, he felt very cool since it is Fortnite! Directions were simple and easy to follow. The gun itself does not come with many bullets, so we just got him more separately. Loading the chamber and shooting the nerf gun is very easy; both my five and eight year old kids took turns shooting the gun off with no issues. The bullets shoot out very fast, but not painful since they are foam. Loads of fun; big hit in our household!!

I thought that it would be too big for him to handle seeing that he is a petite 6 year old but to my surprise he can carry it and handle it very well. When he shoots the pallets straight on, they don't travel as far. However, when he angles the blaster slightly up towards the sky/ceiling, the bullets go super far and the bullets whistles in the air. It is pretty cool to watch him lol. I definitely see myself buying these for my nephews for some outdoor summer fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new addition to our nerf artillery. It has a very nice strong shot and travels at a good high speed. My 8 year old has a little trouble reloading it, but I think he's getting the hang of it. This isn't good for back to back shots because it does take a little time to reload, but when they are re-enacting fortnight scenes and sneaking up on something, it is great.

I like that it only takes 1 Nerf dart at a time so he can’t unload a whole clip of darts at once inside the house. He does a good job of keeping up with his darts with this gun.

The gun is rather large and hard for someone who is small to hold as the gun is way bigger than they are. The gun is hard to pump for a smaller child. It was hard for myself to pull back the first couple of times. Once you get it pulled back then you open the slot for the bullet. The gun is fun for all ages, but not during a nerf gun battle when you only get one shot.

He was so excited to get this one. The blue of the gun is very vibrant, the bullets load and fire easily and its very easy to handle. My son is 6 and has no problems controlling this Nerf gun. It comes with four Styrofoam bullets with slick rubber tips. This nerf gun is definitely my favorite so far. My daughter, who is 8 years old, loves it as well.

This gun takes the mega darts so if you buy extra for it make sure to buy the mega ones. Very fun my kids have ours of fun with it.
