You can connect the antenna directly to your system or through the included cradle, and the antenna flips open so that you can position it for an optimal signal. MU-MIMO, OFDMA, and beamforming technologies help to ensure efficient and reliable connections. Your wireless connection is protected by WPA3 encryption. It is also backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi and USB standards. The Netgear Nighthawk AXE3000 is designed to work with Windows 10 and 11 systems.

I was in need of a travel router as I rent a room and the Wifi here isn't that secure. I had bought a different device before buying this one. The other router was a huge pain to set up and the only thing I accomplished with it was a long string of cuss words. After a long, looong debate I decided to buy this adapter. It's refurbished. I've bought refurbished before it's kind of a mixed bag but I had the option of returning it if I needed to. I've had it for at least a month. It was so easy to set up I was suspicious, lol. But it has worked since setting it up. I can't tell that I'm using an adapter as there is no lag. I don't always have the wing up, in fact it's down atm. Also, it's a nice touch that it came with a docking station. I haven't used it yet because I'm constantly moving my laptop (renting a room). One other thing I was semi worried about was having it interfere with my malware suite, it's kinda serious, but there were no issues. I recommend it! I love it!
