Q: Will this work in extending wifi signal to outdoor security cameras? Some as far as 200+ feet?
A: Hello. You can set this extender up to extend coverage to outdoor areas but the extender must be indoors. You want to install the extender at a half way point between your router and the area that needs coverage.

Q: Will dthis cover a 2000 square-foot house?
A: It depends on walls, signals, piping in the walls, additional interference from hotspots around you, there's no answer to this unless you were to do a walk through in your house to check for vectors of interference.
