I love the look it achieves, and I usually love Neutrogena products - including all the mascara I've had by them. This one is hard to get off. It comes off with water, which is what I wanted, but it does not come off easily with makeup remover. I use Neutrogena wipes or the dual fase liquid one, and neither does the job well. It takes a long time to get this mascara out and some of my lashes come off with it. I really wanted to be a fan, but unless they make it more easily removable with makeup remover, it's a no go for me.

The wand and product itself feels very high-quality, but the product comes on very clumpy. The wand doesn't do the best job in spreading the product out on the lashes. I also found that it did not do the best job in enhancing the lashes.

This mascara gives the appearance of thick, full lashes, but at a cost. It enrobes the eyelash in a way that is so thick it only comes off in globs with a decent solvent. Also, the short bristles used at the base of the lash lead to eye pokes until my hands learned to keep the proper distance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There was no clumping in this mascara, the wand allowed for an easy application. It gave an even and full coat on the first brush. When I applied it while driving and hit a pothole, when it got in my eye it didn't irritate my eye too badly either.

It was a nice everyday mascara that separated my lashes well and gave enough volume for day use. It doesn't give even volume for my preference for an evening look. I liked the Black/Brown color and couldn't tell a major difference from a standard black mascara. This mascara did not irritate my eyes at all and was easy to remove. I would highly recommend!

But… a con would be that sometimes the mascara flakes off and I have large chunks of mascara on my cheeks or under my eyes. The color is great and application looks nice but it can flake off while wearing.

The bristles are interesting as it is double sided. First you use the short side to lengthen the lashes, the only thing I will say is they are a bit pointier than mascara brushes I have used before. Next you use the long side to add more product to the lashes. Overall I had a pleasant experience using it.

This mascara was very easy to apply and goes on really smooth. No issues with smudging during the day and then when it came to removal, no issues once you added a bit of make up remover. For my coloring, I like the bit of softness that came with the black/brown vs the stark black you can sometimes get. Glad that I got this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

I normally prefer black mascara, but the black/brown was very nice. Better than I thought it would look like. It was still dark and made my eyes pop; while adding great length and volume. The only thing I did not like as much wsw when I removed it. It came off very flaky. The consistency is ok. I wish it was more liquidity but overall good.
