Description
About the Book
"Many traditional teaching practices are no longer as applicable as they once were. The emergence of new technologies and a constantly changing societal landscape have altered the needs of students, therefore changing the practices educators use to teach them. Only does this mean that pre-service and new educators need to think on their toes during their first few years, but it also means that veteran educators must adapt to what education looks like today vs. what it looked like when they first entered the classroom. It is difficult for educators to quickly pivot their teaching styles as the world around them changes (especially if they're being asked to do so in the middle of a school year!). However, it is also a critical part of being an effective educator because while these changes bring with them new challenges for educators, they also bring huge opportunities for the classroom to adapt & change alongside the world"--Book Synopsis
