This is the worst so called cooling. It doesn't get cold. It's just a fan even when I have it on cool it's still just a fan and it beeps then the cool button goes off.all together it cost me over 200.00 dollars that I had to save to even buy it.they take your money! They don't work.Dont buy this New Air! They just take your money then they comment on the reviews to make them look good! And I'm a senior who could not and who can not afford to get taken like they do.

I bought this 2 yrs ago and I live in the desert where it gets real hot! I need a bit more cooling at night only in the bedroom and this item works great - if you need a smallish area cooled a bit more then the rest of your house you can't go wrong with this Newair !!

Before you decide to purchase this fan, I challenge you to see how impossible it is to find a replacement filter. I have looked for hours to no avail. I will spend my money elsewhere in the future.

This fan works pretty good on a humid day. The air is nice and cool. It could be a bit quieter but all in all I'm happy with my purchase and in would recommend this fan to anyone looking for something portable and not to too bulky to have in their home. On a very hot and humid day, I recommend having this fan set to high/cooler and use the freezer ice pack included. Also, place the new air near your body.

I purchased this product to help with the Arizona summers and the high cost of air conditioning. I use it all day in my home office and all night in the bedroom. When it developed an electrical problem the help desk was responsive and helped me find the solution to my problem. The cool air flow and moisture add so much comfort to our home and the ease of use in filling and moving the unit are great!

I bought this about a year ago to ease the experience of summers in L.A. Definitely cooled the room down, especially with the window open. I do wish the oscillator moved laterally (not just in spirals). But it's better than it being completely still. After a year of using it a few times a week, the motor gave out, but I reached out to customer support about a replacement, and they diagnosed the problem and helped me get the replacement part super simply.

This unit has been a Great Hardworking Room Air cooler and a Very reliable Humidifier. We rely on it to humidify our bedroom especially during winter months as the air very dry out west, and has helped eliminate sore throats and stuffy noses. Its compact & unobtrusive size also lends itself to conserving space, convenience and giving us great comfort In any room we use.....Truly a well thought out and practical cooler that we could not do without ,in this dry climate. We have used a couple of different evaporative air coolers, and this is our favorite. We use it to cool one of our south facing rooms that has a hard time getting cool with the house AC, and this cooler will help to make the room comfortable. I will say about 3 months after we bought the cooler, the evaporative cooler part of the fan broke (which is why I only gave it 4 stars), but the customer service team at Newair have been very responsive.

MY THREE WINDOWS FACE WEST AND THE AFTERNOON SUN IS MURDER AND THE COOLERS KEEP MY CONDO AROUND 76 DEGREES WITH ALL THE SHADES CLOSED AND MY XCEL BILL HAS DROPPED 75% AND I HAVE THE OLDER UNITS WITH SILVER COLOR AND ARE STILL RUNNING WELL AND HAVE BOUGHT NEW FILTER FROM NEW AIR, THE NEW WHITE UNITS WERE ON SALE SO AFTER USING THE OLD ONES FOR 4 YEARS IT COULD BE A FEW YEARS BEFORE I USE THE NEW ONES. JUST GOOD SINCE HAVING REPLACEMENTS READY.

First, customer service has been great (Ingrid)!!! Second, we love our units, but downgraded from 5 stars to 4 stars because the water pumps keep going out. Customer service replaces them immediately, thank goodness. We live in the desert and the added humidity and extra coolness helps to keep our home comfortable. We have become spoiled now with our units, and plan to use them year round. We love our units so much that we have nicknamed them Swampy1 and Swampy2. Long live our Swampies!!!
