First bought ine last year, it was awesome so I purchased a second one. Plugged it in, power came on for about 2 seconds then shut off. Power to outlet is good and unit is not tripped. Checked everything. It sucks because we grew to love our original 14100.

Unit arrived today, instructions said to wait 2 hours before plugging it in, which i did. Then I turned on the unit, it ran for 15 seconds at most, then shut off and never back on. Fault Compressor.

It was 112 degrees yesterday! Thankfully we were prepared and stayed cool with this Newair Portable Air Conditioner & Heater ~ SKU: AC-14100H! It worked wonders keeping our bedroom cool and kept it at the exact temperature we wanted. Although we do have central ac some of the rooms in our house just don't get cool enough during the summer when it's scorching hot outside. I'm so happy to have this ac as a backup on those super hot desert days. This unit has tons of great features and is powerful enough to rapidly cool 525 square feet fast and has 14,000 BTUs of cooling power! It also has a built in heater and an efficiency booster that improves performance and reduces energy costs! I simply add some water to the tank to cool our home and save money. It's super easy to install with the window kit and can be put in or removed in under a minute. Another great feature is that it's so easily portable and glides around smoothly from room to room on its casters. This portable ac is way better than a built in window ac and even comes with a remote control. All in all it's by far the best ac I've ever owned. If you have any rooms in your house that you struggle to keep cool I highly recommend!!

I absolutely love this air conditioner and heater. Our bedroom gets so hot in the summer and this cools it off considerably within minutes. Having the fan option is also fantastic; we don't HAVE to run it as an air conditioner but can still keep the air flowing around the room. I love that it's on wheels and can be transported easily, stored easily, and moved from room to room. Overall, this is a great buy!

I'm loving this unit and it gets my space nice and cold in record time as compared to my window unit and my older portable unit. Love the smaller size that packs a punch in terms of power. It has been hot here the past few days and this was the perfect fit.... Easy to Install, Easy to Use, Easy to Move Around and Looks amazing! My husband is picky and he loves it too. This portable air conditioner and heater does it all. I'm so glad I will be able to have year-round comfort in my home. Our basement is finished but unfortunately, no vents were put in place to help keep the basement comfortable. Never mind the humidity level. In comes this portable unit! It takes care of everything necessary to keep that area cool, warm, or dehumidified! Best of all it brings the quality I love of any newair product!

The Newair AC-14100H Portable Air Conditioner is a powerful machine. It's convenient, loaded with features, powerful and works extremely well. The only real issue I faced was the condenser issue when the ambient temperature was too hot for the machine to handle. That's expected, however I was hoping that it would be a bit more steady. However if you are using this inside a house you have nothing to worry about at all as its more then capable of cooling entire rooms instantly. We'll see how it performs during the winter.
Worth investing in!!

Used our portable AC unit today for a family gathering and it worked amazing! We enjoyed ourselves and most importantly kept us all cool & fresh on a very hot day. Highly recommended. Definitely a must have in every home.
