Newman's Own Stone Fired Margherita Frozen Pizza - 13.1oz

This pizza is the perfect change for a pizza rut. You can taste the basil so perfectly. The cheese doesn't cover the whole pizza, the crust baked perfectly in my oven. They nailed it. If you're looking for a change this is it. It feels like less protein and filling than other pizzas so buy mire than you think.

Waste of money. No flavor at all.

I don’t know how people could not love this pizza. My husband and I are big pizza lovers and when we tried this one oh my goodness!! I couldn’t stop raving about it. I paid for one similar at a high end restaurant and this one was way better and way cheaper. Like 8 times cheaper. Hands down the best frozen pizza. Taste so good. I still can’t believe it’s a frozen pizza.

Seriously the best crust I've ever had from a frozen pizza. Great crunch, love the sauce as well. Cheese melts beautifully...forgot it was a frozen pizza while we were eating it. Pretty clean ingredients too!

I have liked other pizzas by Newman's own before but wanted to try this stone fired crust margarita. Highly unedible . Went to the garbage! Crust couldn't even chew. Followed directions exactly as stated. Do not recommend this product. I would give it a zero.

Hard as a rock, sparse on the sauce and appeal when unboxing. Proceeded to bake in spite of the ick factor. I love pizza. This is a disgrace to the man whose name is on the box. Most likely he has never even tasted these and neither should you. The entire selection of options is trash. This is just one i've tried this week since they were on sale. Again, love pizza no matter what, until trying this line of them. Yikes. Please save the children in other ways. Just no. So much no

I had such high hopes for this pizza, which sucked from every angle. The crust is inedible, the diameter of this $9 pizza is only ~8". The basil tastes weird and tge slices of mozzarella tasted bland. For another five bucks you could have a real pizza frozen. This pizza bucket runneth over.

I was craving pizza (my favorite food), and Target was my only option at that point in space and time. Preciously they didn’t have very good frozen pizza options, but I saw Newman’s and knew it was a good brand. Read the ingredients as I do with everything, and the list was short and sweet. Also, imported from Italy? I knew it would be hit or miss, but it was the only clean option so I had to try it. If you’ve had this style of pizza (Neapolitan?), this is pretty spot on. It’s not gourmet or anything, it’s from the frozen aisle, but it’s legitimately better than a lot of take out pizza places. If you have a clean pallette I think you’ll enjoy this. It’s sparse in toppings, but very flavorful. The only thing that would make it better is if it had more sauce, but I can live with it for an $8 frozen pizza. Next time I’d add more Evoo, and maybe some fresh basil. It’s a great pizza from the frozen aisle if you’re trying to stay away from the trashy stuff!

I usually don’t write reviews but I have to let everyone know how amazing this pizza is! It’s comparable, maybe even better than restaurant pizzas! I’d highly recommend :)

Good frozen pizza! Just needs a little more seasoning like oregano and a bit more cheese.

This is the most authentic frozen pizza I have ever had. The crust is top notch. It is very Napolitano. Good Passata and mozzarella and basil. This Italian girl approves, and it’s the only frozen pizza I buy. The people who gave it horrible reviews are probably used to DiGiorno, Tombstone or Freschetta. Newman’s Own Stone Fired Margherita tastes nothing like them. Thank goodness!!!

This has been my favorite pizza for years. I think like other reviewers said, they expect an American type of pizza so they rate it low, but this is the most authentic Italian frozen pizza I've ever tried. I hope it stays around forever!! IT'S SO GOOD!!!

Ok. Not great. Everything is a little sparse with this, including the sauce, and especially the basil which is a highlight of the style. Considering the price compared to other similar pizzas in the frozen section, it’s not a great deal.

So IDK how they do it but this pizza is the closest to having a gourmet pizza. I absolutely LOVE IT!!!I have no idea why others say it's horrible. I mean the margarita pizza is simple and fresh. The photos from the bad reviews look like it's undercooked. So 🤷🏻♀️ .. Maybe they haven't had pizza from Italy or stone fire at a specialty pizza restaurant. Personally more is not better rather quality of food is more important. What I have noticed is that you have to be sure your oven is giving correct temps. because under it over cooked it's not as good. I've also added ingredients at times. Like half pepperoni, fresh tomatoes, Parma parmesan grated cheese, more basil and garlic powder or salt. OMG so darn good! Seriously the next best thing to going to a fancy pizza restaurant but from your own home without the pizza oven. The best! If you like specialty stone fire pizzas then you will not be disappointed. I do wish it would go sale like the others do. I noticed when the other Paul Newman pizzas go on sale the particular pizza does not. 😞

The best pizza ever….

This pizza legit tastes like the ones in Italy. This is a classic pizza from Naples essentially. I absolutely loved it and felt like I was being transported to Italy with every bite.

I feel bad most Americans crave a pizza that is loaded with excess fat and oils. These pizzas are as close as my wife and I have found that compare with what we tasted in Italy on our honeymoon. I hope these stick around.

It’s pretty close to how pizza actually is in Italy. I think it’s very tasty and the crust turns out very nice. Don’t be fooled by the reviews, I think a lot of Americans are not accustomed to this kind of pizza vs American style pizza. Regardless, it’s delicious. I hope it doesn’t get discontinued!

For the price I was expecting more. The best part is the crust. It bakes really well and the crust takes good. The sauce and cheese are lacking in taste. The basil and sauce are very minimal. I had to add a good amount of Rao's sauce to it and fresh basil. Also jazzed it up with oregano, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. It still was just disappointing and I even bought it on sale. Don't think i would repurchase even though it's hard to find "clean" pizzas.
