Part of a group of medications called proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), Nexium 24HR acid reducers contain a delayed release formula with esomeprazole magnesium to block acid at the source, turning your body’s acid pumps from on to off for complete heartburn protection (2). Like other PPIs, Nexium 24HR acid blocker capsules may take from 1 to 4 days to reach full effect, but relief lasts for 24 hours, letting you power through your day and sleep peacefully through the night without heartburn interruptions. This package of Nexium capsules contains a 14-day course of treatment in one convenient box. Don't let heartburn pause the moment. Stop acid before it starts with Nexium 24HR. Nexium reduced the amount of plastic used by 24 tons in 2022. Since 2021, Nexium has reduced its plastic usage by 15%. By changing its manufacturing technology, Nexium now uses 15% less plastic. (1) Use as directed for 14 days to treat frequent heartburn. Nexium 24HR may take 1 to 4 days for full effect. (2) It's possible while taking Nexium 24HR. 14-Day Course of Treatment: Swallow 1 capsule with a glass of water before eating in the morning. Take every day for 14 days. Do not take more than 1 capsule a day. Swallow whole. Do not crush or chew capsules. Do not use for more than 14 days unless directed by your doctor. Repeated 14-Day Courses (If needed): You may repeat a 14-day course every 4 months. Do not take for more than 14 days or more often that every 4 months unless directed by a doctor. Tips Managing Heartburn: Avoid foods or drinks that are more likely to cause heartburn, such as rick, spicy, fatty and fried foods, chocolate, caffeine, alcohol and even some acidic fruits and vegetables. Eat slowly and do not eat big meals. Do not eat late at night or just before bedtime. Do not lie flat or bend over soon after eating. Raise the head of your bed. Gave me hives, shortly after taking this I felt a tingling in my back. It was filled with hives. I popped two Benadryl and thankfully have an epi pen due to preexisting allergies so I’m on guard. Never taking this again.

Changed my life! I dont know how I survived before taking Nexium. I take it every morning and very rarely do I need something to help with the acid later in the day! So thankful for this product. Now that it is available without an RX the pricing is far more reasonable.

This is a great product, perfect for relieving heartburn/indigestion. What I don’t like is the waste of packaging. Seriously 3 bottles and all of this packaging. I open these, combine all 3 bottles into 1 bottle and there is still soooo much wasted room in the 1 bottle left. Anyone else annoyed by this waste?

My husband has had issues with heartburn for a few years now. He would avoid certain food just so he wouldn't get heartburn. it wasn't until he started taking Nexium that he was able to enjoy all the foods he use to and no longer had to worry about heartburn keeping him up at night.
