Do not buy. You have been warned. I have never had any scalp issues in my life and this product has irritated my scalp and makes my hair fall out in chunks every time I use it. I have only used this four times and have never not finished a bottle of shampoo, but this is now going directly in the trash with way more than half the shampoo left in it. I’m so disappointed.

This is my go to when my hair has had a hard month! Whether it’s sun damage, cold weather or just not enough vitamins! This has never not helped return my hair to its best! The scent is amazing, and it’s in a price range I can continue to buy every few months! With sleek packaging you can’t go wrong!

I picked this up because my hair was trashed from using box dye, and it was ultra damaged and felt like straw. I kept it up for a year, using it diligently to try to repair what I had done to my hair. My hair felt amazing after a few washings, and it's been only getting better since then. I love this stuff, and I plan to keep buying it because of just how magnificent it makes my hair feel.

I used this shampoo for the first time on vacation with my aunt and she had it. Before that I had been literally trying different shampoos and conditioners to find one that would work for me. I am an African American woman with dreadlocks and could never find a product I felt did my hair any justice. Until I used Nexxus!!! After the first use I was sold!!! My hair felt so soft and clean! It was seriously like a miracle happened first use lol. I love it and this will be my one and only! Thank you!!!!!

The first thing I noticed was how much conditioner I needed and it still didn’t deliver the softness and detanglement I was looking for. The chunks of my hair began to fall out. My hair was so knotted up and I couldn’t get it to untangle. I have curly medium length hair and I am traumatized! The first strands came out upon rinsing and the bunch came out as I was trying to detangle the knots. I’m so sad!

I can’t get past the smell. It’s giving a maple syrup, perfume…incense smell. Just awful. I prefer a clean scent for hair products. I have 3b/3C ethnic hair. The shampoo didn’t make my hair hard or sticky feeling which a lot of shampoos do until I follow with conditioner. I followed with their deep conditioner mask and overall my hair felt clean and didn’t feel stripped. It did not define my curls at all. It actually made my hair fluffy which was weird. If you do not have ethnic hair I can 100% see how this would weigh your hair down or make it feel greasy. Even though my hair felt good based on the smell alone I will be returning.

This shampoo was sent to me with a purchase and I may be hooked. The scent is similar to baby powder and I’m not sure if that is an upside or downside. It lathers very well and left my hair feeling clean and moisturized even in my very hard CO water. I was excited to try this and now will need to hunt this down in my small, rural town because I love the way my hair looks and feels after washing it in Nexxus.

I received Nexxus keraphix damage healing protein fusions with keratin protein and black rice shampoo free in exchange for my honest review. I honestly love the smell of the shampoo during and after. My husband and son complement the smell of my hair when I use this shampoo. My hair texture has improved. I feel like I have less frizz and my hair seems to be more healthy. The only downside of this shampoo I can think of is that it contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate. I don’t typically buy shampoo with sulfates. If it’s on sale, it doesn’t hurt to try it. Thank you, Nexxus! Please consider taking Sulfates out.
