[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this bookshelf. The colors are harmonious and look very luxurious. The shelf is quite heavy and requires 2 people to carry it. Assembly took a little longer than expected but it was worth it once assembled. I don't know if it's real wood or not, but it looks very sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful, but it isn't the easiest to assemble. I'll be using this to display my bbn collection of gemstones. It fits perfectly in the area I wanted to set it up. Very durable, great design. I would definitely recommend this product. Just remember that it isn't assembled, and weighs approximately 140 pounds so be prepared to have a large, heavy piece of furniture delivered to your home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I managed to put this together myself, except for putting the feet on. That took two people. The bottom was really unsteady on those feet, so I took them off and set it on the ground. It would be nice if they put an extra dowel in there as 1 broke, and I had to widdle away and make one. One other thing to watch is that the book shows the colored vs raw edge on some of the pics. But not all of them. Yep, take it apart to fix it. This is all made out of pressed particle board, so it's heavy!! Even after removing the feet, it was still a bit tippy. The kit supplied us with a wall anchor kit to fasten it to the wall. I was happy about that. I love the design and color scheme of the bookcase. It looks pretty sharp all done.

Does have a lot of pieces, so it takes a hot minute to assemble but to be expected as it's a big storage shelf! Everything fit together very well for the most part. The colors are pretty. It's very sturdy but would still suggest using the wall mount, especially on carpet. The hardest part was getting the door hinges set up, but once I did it, the second one went together smoothly. The directions don't have words, just pictures. Everything was labeled well, so it didn't matter to me.
