I wish that they displayed this chair in photos only as its actual color, because some of the photos show it as a deep, wine red and others as plum. I was hoping for the red. It is very plum, but still a pretty color and the color still meshes with my other decor. I didn’t expect it to be so low to the ground, and one of the screws they gave me for the ottoman was shorter than all the rest and unusable; there were no extra screws included to replace it so I had to find one from my hardware drawer and it only halfway screwed in. Overall I like the chair but this wasn’t my best furniture buying experience
